Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteTo track a rocket launch and watch it live, confirm the mission’s latest target on the launch provider’s or NASA’s official schedule, then use the provider’s mission page or NASA Live to find the webcast. Check the time zone and refresh both pages close to launch: target dates, stream links, and event times can change.
Find the latest launch target
Start with the organization flying the mission. NASA’s Launch Schedule includes a time-zone selector and may list a target as “No Earlier Than.” SpaceX also lists missions on its launches page. A target is provisional, not a guarantee that liftoff will happen at that time. Recheck the mission page on launch day, particularly when the schedule uses “NET” or “No Earlier Than.”
Find the official webcast and start time
Check the provider’s mission page for its stream link and coverage timing. You can also look at NASA Live, which lists NASA coverage and links to NASA+, YouTube, and other channels when they carry an event. NASA Live displays event times in U.S. Eastern time, so convert the listed time to your own time zone before setting a reminder.
Webcast start times depend on the provider
A webcast may begin before liftoff. Rocket Lab says its live launch broadcasts appear on its livestream page at around T-20 minutes on launch day. That is Rocket Lab’s stated practice, not a general rule for all launch providers. For another mission, use that provider’s own page to confirm when coverage starts.

Track the countdown and set a reminder
If you want more timing detail than a target date, NASA’s Launch Services Program Mission Countdown interface includes L-time, T-time, UTC, liftoff, launch-window, and event fields. These can help you follow the countdown and distinguish a countdown marker from the scheduled clock time.
You can also use an app as an optional reminder layer. The Go4Liftoff App Store listing describes launch countdowns, configurable alerts, and notifications when a webcast goes live. It is an iPhone-oriented third-party app, described as free with in-app purchases and powered by The Space Devs Launch Library 2 API. It is not an official NASA or launch-provider app, and its alerts do not replace checking the mission’s official page.

Use a quick pre-launch checklist
- Confirm the mission and target. Open the provider’s mission page or NASA’s schedule, and note whether the date or time is tentative.
- Open the webcast listing. Use the provider’s page or NASA Live to locate the official stream and its stated start time.
- Convert the time zone. Keep the original zone alongside your converted local time; NASA Live uses U.S. Eastern, while NASA’s countdown interface includes UTC.
- Recheck near launch. Refresh the target and stream listing shortly before the event in case timing or coverage has changed.
- Set an alert if helpful. Use a calendar reminder, countdown interface, or optional app, but keep the official page as your source of truth.
What to expect from live listings
NASA’s live page is an event listing, not just a launch calendar; it can include coverage of other mission events. For example, NASA Live’s Oct. 1, 2026 update reported that SpaceX Crew-13 launched at 11:10 a.m. EDT that day from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, and listed continuing coverage across services including YouTube and NASA+. This is a past-event example, not an upcoming launch time. As of Oct. 7, 2026, the page also listed Crew-12 undocking coverage, illustrating why readers should consult the current lineup rather than rely on a cached schedule. NASA Live’s Crew-13 listing.
NASA says its programming is free, though obtaining it through some third-party streaming services may involve equipment purchases or subscription fees. Check the linked viewing option’s terms; you do not need to buy a special device or subscription simply to follow the online launch workflow.
