Dungeon Munchies 2’s Steam listing does not currently confirm controller support or name compatible controllers. The game is listed for planned Early Access on November 5, 2026, but that date may change. If you are having input trouble, you can try Steam’s general controller troubleshooting steps; they are not confirmed fixes for this sequel.
Does Dungeon Munchies 2 support controllers?
As of October 7, 2026, the official Steam listing for Dungeon Munchies 2 does not state whether the game supports controllers or identify compatible models. It lists maJAJa as the developer and publisher and gives November 5, 2026 as the planned Early Access release date. Check the store page for updates, because release plans and feature information can change.
The developer-authored Steam Q&A says the initial Early Access build is expected to include the first story chapter, with about 2–3 hours of gameplay, and that more chapters will be added during development. That describes planned content, not controller compatibility.
How to troubleshoot controller input on Steam
Steam Support offers general controller troubleshooting advice. The following steps may help diagnose an input problem, but Steam has not confirmed them as specific fixes for Dungeon Munchies 2.

- Close the game and disconnect controllers. Relaunch the game, connect one controller, and test it. Using one device at a time can help isolate whether another connected input device is interfering.
- Temporarily close controller-mapping software. Programs that emulate or remap controller input can conflict with a game or Steam. Close them and test again.
- Restart the Steam client. If the problem continues, fully restart Steam and try the controller again.
These are general platform steps, not a guarantee that a controller will work in the sequel. The current listing does not establish support, so avoid assuming that a particular controller, cable, adapter, or workaround is required.
What the original Dungeon Munchies FAQ says
The developer’s FAQ for the original Dungeon Munchies says, “Yes, we support PS4, Xbox One and Logitech controllers.” It also recommends restarting that game after connecting a controller if inputs are not recognized, and disabling third-party controller software such as DS4Windows if movement or jumping is erratic.
