Recommended Free Tools
To find free shipping on Amazon without Prime, choose items whose product pages show “FREE shipping,” add enough eligible items to meet the applicable minimum, and check the shipping charge and delivery date in the order summary before placing your order. Amazon Seller Central’s U.S. guidance says products fulfilled by Amazon are eligible for free shipping on orders over $35, but the offer can depend on the items and shipping destination, so verify what Amazon shows for your order.
How to find free-shipping items without Prime
- Open the product detail page. Check the shipping information for the selected offer and look for “FREE shipping.” Amazon says an item fulfilled by Amazon with that wording on its product detail page counts toward the minimum of eligible items. See Amazon’s shipping explainer.
- Add eligible items to your cart. If your order is below the applicable minimum, add other items that also qualify. Amazon Seller Central’s current U.S. guidance says products fulfilled by Amazon are eligible for free shipping on orders over $35. Treat that as guidance, not a guarantee for every offer: confirm the live terms for your selected items and destination.
- Set or check the shipping address. Eligibility is assessed for the intended delivery address, so an offer may change when you select a different destination. Amazon explains this in its Prime delivery benefits information.
- Review the order summary before you buy. Confirm that the shipping line shows no charge and check the estimated delivery date. If shipping is still charged, review the item offers, eligible-item total, destination, and available shipping choices before placing the order.
What the $35 minimum means
Amazon Seller Central’s U.S. guidance says products fulfilled by Amazon are eligible for free shipping on orders over $35. The guidance is seller-facing, and the available wording does not establish that every item, seller, destination, or shipping speed qualifies. Use the “FREE shipping” label and your order’s checkout summary to determine whether your particular items meet the minimum.

Amazon’s explainer says items fulfilled by Amazon that show “FREE shipping” on their detail pages count toward the minimum of eligible items. Do not assume that the displayed price of every item in the cart counts; check the shipping offer for each item and the eligible total shown for your order.
Free standard shipping versus faster delivery
Free shipping and faster delivery are separate choices. If checkout offers free standard shipping, compare its delivery estimate with any paid faster option. Amazon lists non-Prime same-day delivery at up to $12.99 per order, excluding Amazon Gift Cards, which have separate shipping charges. Same-day delivery depends on location and availability; it is not a free-shipping alternative. See Amazon’s same-day delivery rates.

How to choose at checkout
Compare the delivered total and arrival date, not just the item price. Check whether the items and destination qualify, whether the order meets the applicable minimum, and what shipping amount appears in the final summary. Choose the free option if its delivery estimate works for you; if you need the order sooner, decide whether an available paid option is worth its stated charge.
