Choose Ubisoft+ Premium if you mainly want Ubisoft games, including its Premium catalog, advertised day-one releases where available, and premium editions. Choose Xbox Game Pass Ultimate if you want Ubisoft+ Classics alongside a broader multi-publisher subscription and will use its other benefits. They are not equivalent: Ultimate includes Ubisoft+ Classics, not the full Ubisoft+ Premium subscription. Check the specific game, device, and region before paying because catalog availability changes.
Is Ubisoft+ included with Xbox Game Pass?
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate includes Ubisoft+ Classics, which Xbox describes as a selection of 50+ games. That is not the same as a full Ubisoft+ Premium subscription. Ubisoft describes Premium as offering its Premium catalog, new releases on day one, and premium editions; the available contents of a premium edition can vary.
In short, Game Pass Ultimate provides access to a Classics selection, while Ubisoft+ Premium is the more direct option for Ubisoft’s Premium offering. Do not assume that a game or edition advertised for Ubisoft+ Premium is included with Ubisoft+ Classics. Xbox’s Game Pass comparison and Ubisoft’s Premium product page describe the respective offerings.
Which subscription is better for the Ubisoft games you want?
The best choice depends on the titles and editions you plan to play, not just the service name. Catalogs change, and availability can differ by region, plan, and platform. Xbox explicitly notes that game titles, number, features, and availability vary over time, by region, Game Pass plan, and platform.

What is the difference between Ubisoft+ Premium and Ubisoft+ Classics?
| What to compare | Ubisoft+ Premium | Ubisoft+ Classics with Game Pass Ultimate |
|---|---|---|
| Catalog | Ubisoft’s Premium catalog; check the live catalog for specific titles. | A Classics selection Xbox describes as 50+ games; it is not the full Premium subscription. |
| New releases | Ubisoft advertises new releases on day one, where available. | The Classics inclusion does not promise access to every Ubisoft+ Premium release. |
| Editions | Premium editions are advertised, but not all premium content may be included in every edition. | Do not assume access to Premium editions; verify the individual game’s included content. |
| Platform route | Ubisoft identifies PC through Ubisoft Connect and Xbox consoles. | Ultimate includes the Classics selection; verify each game’s platform availability in the current catalog. |
For the catalog-size figure, Xbox’s current plan comparison page states 50+ games. This is Xbox’s own catalog claim, not an independently audited count. See Xbox’s plan comparison and Ubisoft’s Premium description.
Can you play Ubisoft games with PC Game Pass?
Ubisoft says PC Game Pass subscribers can access a catalog of Ubisoft games through Ubisoft Connect PC and the Xbox app for Windows. This is a separate route from the Ubisoft+ Classics inclusion with Game Pass Ultimate, and it should not be generalized to every Game Pass tier, Ubisoft game, or platform. Check Ubisoft’s support instructions and the current catalog for the game you want. Ubisoft support: accessing Ubisoft games with PC Game Pass.

How do price and overall value compare?
Compare the recurring price shown at checkout in your country with what you will use. In the captured US Xbox comparison result, Game Pass Ultimate was listed at $22.99 per month and Game Pass Premium at $14.99 per month. Xbox also displayed promotional offers and noted recurring terms can change. These are Xbox prices from that result, not a current quote for every reader or a direct comparison with Ubisoft+ Premium.
A separate Ubisoft UK checkout result showed £6.99 per month for its selected plan. That UK figure is not a like-for-like US price, and it does not establish the current Ubisoft+ Premium price in other regions. Check your local checkout for the plan name, recurring charge, and any promotional terms before subscribing. Xbox plan comparison; Ubisoft UK checkout.

As a value decision, Ubisoft+ Premium is the focused choice if Ubisoft access is your main goal. Game Pass Ultimate can make more sense if you will also use its wider catalog and benefits. Treat the latter as a comparison of full bundles, not as a cheaper way to get all of Ubisoft+ Premium.
