Xbox Game Pass Ultimate can be worth it if the Ubisoft+ Classics games you want are currently available and you will also use enough of Ultimate’s other benefits to justify its monthly price. It is not an automatic value for every Ubisoft fan: Ubisoft+ Classics is included with Ultimate, not Premium or PC Game Pass, and access to select Ubisoft Connect games on Windows is a separate, more limited benefit.
Which Game Pass plans include Ubisoft games?
There are two different Ubisoft-related benefits to distinguish: the Ubisoft+ Classics collection included with Ultimate, and access to select Ubisoft Connect titles on Windows through the Xbox app.
| Plan | US recurring price listed October 7, 2026 | Ubisoft-related access |
|---|---|---|
| Game Pass Ultimate | $22.99/month | Includes Ubisoft+ Classics; Ultimate members can also access select Ubisoft Connect titles on Windows through the Xbox app. |
| Game Pass Premium | $14.99/month | Does not include Ubisoft+ Classics. The sources cited here do not establish Premium access to the select Ubisoft Connect titles described for PC Game Pass and Ultimate. |
| PC Game Pass | $13.99/month | Does not include Ubisoft+ Classics. PC Game Pass members can access select Ubisoft Connect titles on Windows through the Xbox app. |
These are prices on the US Xbox pages reviewed on October 7, 2026, not universal prices; local pricing, offers, taxes, and availability can differ or change. Ultimate’s US store listing says the subscription renews automatically unless canceled through the Microsoft account. Check your local Xbox store for current terms. What the Ubisoft+ Classics benefit does—and does not—tell you
Xbox describes Ubisoft+ Classics as a selection of 50+ games. That collection-size figure does not establish that a particular Ubisoft game is included right now. The pages cited here do not provide a complete named live list, so check the title you want in the Xbox Game Pass catalog before subscribing.

- EA PLAY MEMBERSHIP INCLUDED: Jump into Battlefield, STAR WARS, and other great game franchises with EA Play. Included at no extra cost, members get access to a collection of EA’s best-loved games, in-game rewards, and trials of select new games.
Ubisoft+ Classics is an Ultimate benefit, not a benefit shared by all Game Pass plans. Separately, Xbox says PC Game Pass and Ultimate members can access select Ubisoft Connect titles on Windows through the Xbox app. “Select” is important: this is not a promise of access to every Ubisoft game, and it should not be confused with the Classics collection. Verify each desired game and the platform on which you plan to play it.
When Game Pass Ultimate is worth it for a Ubisoft-focused player
You want several games in the current Classics selection
Ultimate is more compelling when multiple games you expect to play are actually in Ubisoft+ Classics for your region and platform. Treat the collection as access while your subscription and the relevant catalog availability continue—not as permanent ownership of those games.

You will use other Ultimate benefits
If you would subscribe to Ultimate for other included games or benefits anyway, Ubisoft+ Classics can add value to a plan you already find worthwhile. If your interest is only one Ubisoft game, the higher Ultimate price may be harder to justify; compare it with the cost of buying or accessing that game another way.
You play on Windows and your desired titles are among the select Connect games
For a PC-only player, PC Game Pass may be worth considering if the specific Ubisoft Connect titles they want are accessible through the Xbox app. It costs less than Ultimate at the US prices listed above, but it does not include Ubisoft+ Classics. Confirm the game’s availability before choosing a plan.

How to decide before you subscribe
- List the games you expect to play during the next month. Focus on titles you will actually start or continue, not the size of a collection headline.
- Check each game in the live catalog. Confirm the relevant plan, region, and platform. For a Windows Connect title, verify that it is among the select games accessible through the Xbox app.
- Compare your alternatives. Add up what you would otherwise pay to buy or access those games during the same period, then compare that amount with the recurring price of the plan that provides the access you need.
- Count other plan benefits only if you will use them. A benefit you do not value should not make the subscription look cheaper on paper.
- Recheck availability before relying on continued access. Xbox warns that game titles, features, and availability vary over time, by region, plan, and platform. Catalog membership is not permanent ownership.
Xbox’s catalog availability notice is why a live check matters: a game available today may not remain available under the same conditions. If you are outside the US, use your local Xbox store and catalog rather than assuming the US prices or selection apply.
