To track a Nordstrom.com order in the U.S., sign in to your Nordstrom account and check purchases on the way, or look up a guest order using its order number on Nordstrom’s order-information page. If a shipment is missing, Nordstrom says to report it through your account or contact customer service within 30 days of its ship date.
How to track a Nordstrom order
Nordstrom emails customers when items ship and when an order’s status changes. An order with multiple items may have separate shipment updates, so check the status of each item rather than assuming the whole order will ship together.

What to do if a Nordstrom delivery is late or missing
- Check the order status and shipment emails. Confirm whether the item has shipped and review its tracking update. For an order split into multiple shipments, check each item’s status separately.
- Report a missing item or shipment. Nordstrom says customers missing items or shipments within 30 days of the ship date should report an order issue through their account or contact the company for help. This is Nordstrom’s reporting guidance, not a promise of a particular remedy.
- Contact customer service if you need help. Nordstrom lists U.S. customer service as available 24/7 at 1.888.282.6060; online chat is also available through its customer-service page.
For international orders, use Nordstrom’s International Shopping information; the U.S. order-support process may not apply unchanged.

Backorder or late delivery: how to tell the difference
A backordered item was not available to ship when the order was placed. Nordstrom says it shows an approximate ship date when the item is added to the bag and at checkout, and emails customers if that date changes. Payment is charged as the item ships. A late delivery is different: if an item has shipped, follow its tracking update and report it if it remains missing.
