To use a Galaxy Tab S10 FE as a wireless display for a Windows PC, open Second screen on the tablet, press Windows + K on the PC, and select the tablet. The PC must support Wireless Display. Then choose whether Windows should extend the desktop onto the tablet or duplicate the PC screen.
Check compatibility first
Samsung confirms that Second screen is supported on the Galaxy Tab S10 FE and S10 FE+. The PC must support Wireless Display; if Windows cannot find the tablet, check this capability first. Samsung’s broader compatibility guidance specifies Windows 10 version 20H2 or later for its Galaxy Tab and Galaxy Book note. Compatibility and settings can vary with the Windows build, tablet software, and region.
Samsung recommends keeping the devices near one another and connected to the same Wi-Fi network for best results. Its regional guidance also says to keep the tablet’s Second screen page open while pairing. Treat the same-network and proximity advice as recommendations, not a mandatory connection rule stated in the S10 FE-specific setup steps.
Connect the tablet to your Windows PC
- On the tablet: Swipe down from the top right of the screen with two fingers to open Quick settings, then tap Second screen.
- On the PC: Press Windows + K to open the wireless display connection panel, then select the Galaxy Tab S10 FE when it appears.
- Choose input permissions if prompted: Samsung’s regional guidance describes allowing mouse, keyboard, touch, and pen input from the connection prompt.
- Set the display mode: Open Windows Display settings and choose Extend or Duplicate. Arrange the screens and adjust scale and resolution to suit your setup.
- Disconnect when finished: Press Windows + K on the PC and select Disconnect.

Choose Extend or Duplicate

If the tablet shows the same image as the PC when you wanted more desktop space, change the mode to Extend in Windows Display settings. The same settings let you arrange displays and adjust scale and resolution.
Use touch, mouse, and keyboard input
Samsung says you can navigate the computer interface using the PC’s mouse or the tablet touchscreen. If you are prompted about input during connection, check that the relevant permission is allowed. Samsung’s regional instructions list mouse, keyboard, touch, and pen input; the exact prompt or available options may depend on the PC and connection.

Fix common connection problems
- The tablet does not appear in Windows + K: Confirm that the PC supports Wireless Display. Keep Second screen open on the tablet, bring the devices closer, and try Samsung’s same-Wi-Fi recommendation.
- The connection mirrors instead of extending: In Windows Display settings, switch the mode to Extend.
- Touch or another input method does not work as expected: Check the input permissions in the PC’s connection prompt, if shown.
Know what Second screen does—and does not do
Second screen wirelessly presents the Windows PC display on the tablet. It is not a wired HDMI monitor workflow: Samsung says the Galaxy Tab S10 FE and S10 FE+ are not compatible with HDMI output or Wireless DeX. DeX is a separate tablet desktop-like interface, not the method for using this tablet as a Windows PC display.
Samsung’s broader Connected Experience compatibility guidance says Second screen is available on Galaxy Tab S-series devices from S7 onward with One UI 5.1.1 or later, and recommends One UI 6.1.1 or later. For its Galaxy Book direct-launch scenario—starting Second screen from the PC without first activating it on the tablet—it specifies the same Samsung account on both devices and a Wireless Display-capable PC running Windows 10 version 20H2 or later.
