Choosing well means comparing aircraft by role, tier, rarity, and upgrades—and judging them in the context of the battles they can enter.
What speed, agility, and firepower tell you
Speed, agility, and firepower are useful lenses for thinking about aircraft, but the available official sources do not define these terms as specific in-game measurements or publish a formula for combining them. Treat them as practical questions rather than confirmed stat descriptions:
- Speed: Does the aircraft suit the way you want to move around the battlefield?
- Agility: Does it fit a style that depends on maneuvering and positioning?
- Firepower: Does its combat role fit the targets and engagements you want to take on?
These prompts can help you identify a preferred play style, but they do not establish that one attribute is always more valuable than another—or that a plane with a particular label will perform a specific way. The official App Store listing describes fighter and bomber aircraft and upgrades that affect performance and combat attributes, without providing a complete, comparable stat sheet.
How to compare planes fairly
Start with factors the game’s sources do document: aircraft role, tier, rarity, and upgrade state. For a practical comparison, look at planes in the same tier and at similar rarity and upgrade levels. This keeps differences in progression from being mistaken for differences in a plane’s underlying role.

- Role: Consider whether you want a fighter or bomber. The listing establishes these broad aircraft classes, but does not provide a universal recommendation for every play style.
- Tier: Use tier to understand the matchmaking context and progression bracket, not as a stand-alone measure of which plane is best.
- Rarity: The Help Center says rarity affects overall power and performance within a tier. Ten Square Games also describes common aircraft as easier to unlock and rarer aircraft as more differentiated within each tier in its July 7, 2026 progression announcement.
- Upgrades and battle effects: A plane’s strength can reflect Hangar Workshop perks, module upgrades, and power-ups used during a match, according to the Ten Square Games Help Center.
Because these factors can change the comparison, a plane’s apparent advantage in one battle does not by itself prove it has better base speed, agility, or firepower.
Why matchmaking matters to your choice
Ten Square Games says matchmaking is based primarily on the highest-tier plane selected for a battle. Its Help Center explains that planes approximately one tier above or below that aircraft may appear, regardless of upgrade level; a wider tier spread may occur when player tiers vary more widely. That makes your selected plane’s tier relevant to the opponents you may face, while upgrades and rarity still help explain differences in strength.

The statement describes the Help Center’s matchmaking explanation; it is not a promise that every match will contain exactly that tier range.

Which plane is best for your play style?
There is no evidence-backed universal winner. Choose based on the role you enjoy, then compare the aircraft you can field at a similar tier, rarity, and upgrade state. If you are deciding between two planes, inspect their current in-game screens and try to separate the aircraft’s listed attributes from any effects of upgrades, workshop perks, modules, or power-ups.
A third-party Pocket Gamer guide, updated October 5, 2026 for version 2.3.2, provides roster and strategic context, including four planes added to its guide: the Yermolayev Yer-2 M-105, Mitsubishi G4M1, Hawker Sea Fury FB. 11, and Heinkel He 111 H-16. It is not an official source for numerical stats, so use the game itself to confirm the current roster and any displayed values.

What you can—and cannot—conclude from plane stats
The official material supports comparing roles, tiers, rarity, and progression effects. It does not establish a current numeric speed, agility, or firepower table, define how those attributes are calculated, or specify a universal weighting formula. Avoid treating an unsourced online ranking or a single match as proof that one plane is objectively best.
If the game displays numerical values for a plane, compare like with like: check the same version of the game, note the plane’s upgrade state, and account for whether workshop perks, modules, or in-battle power-ups are active. Without those controls, a numerical comparison may mix different progression states rather than measure aircraft on equal terms.
