Play Sifu on a phone or tablet with Xbox Cloud Gaming
Xbox Cloud Gaming streams the game from Microsoft’s service, so you do not need to own an Xbox console. Xbox’s Sifu cloud listing currently says it is cloud playable with Game Pass Essential, Premium, or Ultimate. Catalog availability and plan eligibility can change, so confirm both on the listing in your location before you begin.
- Check access: Confirm Xbox Cloud Gaming is available where you are and that the current listing includes Sifu with your Game Pass plan.
- Check your device: Use a supported iPhone, iPad, Android phone, or Android tablet. Xbox’s mobile gaming page lists device and operating-system compatibility; consult it for current requirements.
- Connect a controller: Pair a compatible Xbox or PlayStation controller over Bluetooth, or connect it by wire. Xbox identifies Sifu as controller-playable. For device-specific pairing help, use the support links on Xbox’s mobile page.
- Start the stream: Open the Xbox Cloud Gaming page in a mobile browser, sign in, find Sifu, and start playing.
Choose a controller that fits your setup
A physical controller is the straightforward choice for Sifu. A standard compatible Xbox or PlayStation controller can connect to your phone or tablet by Bluetooth or wire. A phone-mounted mobile controller is optional if you prefer a handheld grip; Xbox features the Backbone One as one example, but check that the exact model’s connector and physical fit match your phone before buying.
Check your connection if play stutters or feels delayed
Xbox recommends 5 GHz Wi-Fi or mobile data at 20 Mbps or higher for mobile cloud gaming. That is a recommendation, not a promise of low latency or uninterrupted play. Connection stability, network conditions, and service availability also affect streaming; because Sifu is a timing-sensitive action game, noticeable input delay may affect how it feels to play.

- Check that your Wi-Fi or mobile data connection is stable and that you meet Xbox’s stated recommendation.
- Confirm the cloud service is available in your location and that Sifu is still listed for your plan.
- If the stream remains unreliable, consider Xbox Remote Play only if you own and have configured an Xbox console.
Xbox Cloud Gaming and Xbox Remote Play are different

Steam’s Steam Cloud Play documentation describes GeForce NOW as the first cloud service connected to Steam Cloud Play and discusses streaming a Steam library on supported devices, including Android. That documentation does not establish that Sifu is currently available through GeForce NOW for every region, storefront, or membership tier. Check GeForce NOW’s current catalog and supported device information before treating it as an option.
