CSIR-IICT—the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology—is a public research laboratory of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), based in Tarnaka, Hyderabad. It researches chemistry and related technologies, develops processes and products, and supports industry and research partners through technical services, facilities and collaboration. It is not a consumer chemical company. CSIR-IICT’s official site is the starting point for its reports, academic information and current contacts.

A current example: functional materials
One illustration of its materials work is i-MEET 2026, an international conference organized by CSIR-IICT’s Department of Polymers and Functional Materials. These are broad institutional categories rather than a published promise that a particular service is available on demand. The relevant division can confirm scope, eligibility, capacity, fees and current terms. The institute’s RTI disclosure describes its mission as “Linking Research to Marketspace.”
