Vampire Crawlers is a turn-based card dungeon crawler from the world of Vampire Survivors. On iPhone, Apple’s listing specifies iOS 18.6 or later and support for compatible PlayStation, Xbox, or MFi controllers. Poncle has announced iOS and Android versions for later in 2026, but its published information does not establish an exact release date or confirm that Android is available to download now. Check the current App Store or Google Play listing in your region before installing.
How Vampire Crawlers works
You choose a Crawler, enter a multi-floor dungeon, and build a deck of attack and utility cards for battles. Between fights, explore for treasure and interactions. As you progress, experience can add cards, while chests can provide customization gems and power-ups. Weapon evolutions and summoned Survivors can produce cascading effects. Poncle describes it as a dungeon crawler played with cards in an Xbox Wire interview.
How to play: a beginner’s sequence
- Choose a Crawler. Different Crawlers change your deck, so try different characters to learn which starting cards and abilities fit your style.
- Build card sequences in mana order. Start with lower-mana cards and work upward to trigger combos; random tapping can miss the benefit of sequencing.
- Use Wilds to extend the stack. Wilds let more cards contribute to a sequence and multiply its effects.
- Explore between battles. Dungeons have multiple floors, with treasure and interactions. The shovel can open a route to the next floor.
- Develop your deck and effects. Gain experience for new cards, look for gems and power-ups in chests, and pursue weapon evolutions or summoned Survivors.
- Visit the village after each run. The App Store’s starting tips recommend returning there to buy Power-Ups.

Is Vampire Crawlers available on iPhone and Android?
The Apple App Store has an iPhone listing. Its page specifies iOS 18.6 or later, but local availability can vary, so check the listing for your region. Poncle’s FAQ and September 21, 2026 Steam announcement say mobile versions are planned for later in 2026; poncle’s March 19, 2026 launch announcement names both iOS and Android. These announcements do not give an exact mobile release date.

The reviewed publisher information establishes that Android is planned, but does not establish an Android minimum OS version, device list, price, or confirmed Google Play release. Check Google Play for current availability and requirements rather than relying on an announced release window.
iPhone requirements and controller support
- Minimum listed OS: iOS 18.6 or later for iPhone, according to Apple’s listing.
- Controller: Apple says compatible PlayStation, Xbox, and MFi controllers are supported. A controller is optional; the listing does not identify a model tested specifically with the game.
Before buying a controller, verify that it is compatible with your iPhone. Apple’s listing also mentions iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision compatibility, but those are separate from playing on an iPhone.
