Compare your real renewal prices, storage needs and household use; don’t count an included service as savings just because it comes with the plan.
Start with what your household would pay without Apple One
Make a list of the Apple services each person would continue paying for if you cancelled the bundle. Use the renewal prices and country or region shown on your own bills: Apple’s prices and availability vary by market and can change.
Add the cost of the iCloud+ storage your household needs. Then compare that total with the Apple One tier that gives the right people access and enough storage. Count a service only if someone in the household would actually use and pay for it on its own. An unused subscription is not a saving.
- List the included Apple subscriptions your household would keep separately.
- Add the price of the iCloud+ storage you need, and check whether the bundle’s storage allowance is enough.
- Choose a tier that fits the people who need shared access, accounting for service-specific sharing rules.
- Check whether any existing subscription or iCloud+ charge will continue separately during a trial or plan transition.
- Compare the resulting costs, then decide whether convenience is worth any remaining difference.
Current Apple One prices and storage in the US
Apple’s US page, checked October 7, 2026, lists these monthly prices and included services. These are US figures only; taxes, availability and terms can differ elsewhere. Apple’s current Apple One page also displays the standalone prices and component totals below.

On the same US page, Apple lists standalone monthly prices of $0.99 for iCloud+ 50 GB, $10.99 for Apple Music, $12.99 for Apple TV, $6.99 for Apple Arcade, $9.99 for Fitness+ and $12.99 for News+. Apple’s page calls its displayed bundle comparisons savings of $13/month for Individual, $17/month for Family and $35/month for Premier. Those comparisons use the components Apple lists; your household’s savings may be smaller if it would not subscribe to every included service. See Apple’s US plan and component figures.
Choose a tier by use, storage and sharing
Individual
Individual may fit one person whose use of Apple Music, Apple TV and Apple Arcade—and need for 50 GB of included iCloud+—makes the bundle cheaper than the subscriptions and storage they would otherwise keep. Don’t assume it gives the same sharing rights as the household tiers: Apple says Apple Music cannot be shared with Family Sharing members on Individual. Apple also says Apple TV and Apple Arcade include Family Sharing on Individual. Apple’s Apple One support guidance describes the service-specific sharing rules.

Family
Family may suit a household that wants to share Apple Music, Apple TV and Apple Arcade and can use the included 200 GB of iCloud+ storage. Apple says Family Sharing can extend the included subscriptions to up to five other people, but it must be set up. Check that the services each person wants are shareable under the plan rather than assuming every benefit works identically. Premier
Premier adds Apple Fitness+ and Apple News+ to the services listed for Family, and includes 2 TB of iCloud+ storage. It is worth considering only if the household would use those added services or needs the larger storage allocation enough to justify the price. Apple says Premier can share included subscriptions with up to five other people through Family Sharing once configured. Apple’s plan page lists the included services and storage.

Account sharing does not mean sharing one account
Family Sharing members use their own Apple Accounts. Apple says personal photos, files and documents remain private, and members retain individual preferences and recommendations for shared subscriptions. Some services, including iCloud+, require additional sharing steps. If Purchase Sharing is turned on, the organizer is billed for existing and future media purchases and subscriptions made by family members. Review the settings before enabling it. During an Apple One trial
Apple says subscriptions not already held are free for the first month of an Apple One trial. If you already pay separately for an included subscription, that separate charge continues until the trial ends and the paid Apple One plan begins. A trial may therefore leave overlapping charges in place temporarily. Apple’s Apple One page describes the trial terms.

When an existing iCloud+ plan has more storage
Apple says included subscriptions generally transition into Apple One when you subscribe. However, if your existing iCloud+ plan has more storage than the new Apple One tier, it may remain separately billed. Check your subscriptions and iCloud+ storage tier rather than assuming every previous charge stops automatically. Apple’s plan page explains the storage exception.
When you cancel
Apple describes Apple One as a monthly subscription with no long-term commitment. You can cancel at least one day before renewal and keep access through the paid billing period. After cancellation, you can choose individual subscriptions to keep and pay for separately; Apple says personalized content such as playlists and queues remains intact. Apple’s Apple One page lists cancellation and transition details.
