To set up your OPPO Find X10, power it on, choose your language and regional options, connect to trusted Wi-Fi, and follow the on-screen steps to create a screen password and finish setup. Then review your lock screen, display, notifications, connectivity, and app permissions. OPPO’s published specifications identify the China-market Find X10 as model PMW110 running ColorOS 17.0; other regions or software versions may differ, so use the labels and prompts on your own phone.
Check your Find X10 model and ColorOS version
Before following a menu instruction, confirm the model and software shown on your device. OPPO’s China-market Find X10 specifications list model PMW110 and ColorOS 17.0. Those identifiers are a reference for that market, not confirmation that every regional version has the same model code or software.
OPPO cautions that setup features can vary by phone model and ColorOS version in its general setup guide. If a screen or setting name on your phone differs, follow its on-screen instructions or search Settings for the relevant term rather than relying on an assumed menu path.
Complete the first-run setup
- Power on the phone. Hold the Power button until the OPPO logo appears.
- Choose language and regional options. Select the choices that apply to you on the setup screen.
- Connect to Wi-Fi. Prefer a trusted network, and have any required network credentials ready.
- Follow the remaining prompts. Create a screen password you can remember and continue through the available setup steps.
The precise prompts and optional features may not appear identically on every Find X10; OPPO says first-run setup varies by model and ColorOS version. Do not assume that a particular data-migration, eSIM, backup, or account option will be available on your regional device.

Review the settings that matter day to day
Once setup is complete, review the following areas. The available controls and their names can vary, and OPPO’s general guide does not verify Find X10-specific customization paths. Use Settings search if you cannot find a control.
Screen comfort and readability
Review brightness, refresh behavior, and eye-comfort options to suit how and where you use the phone. OPPO’s Find X10 product information describes the display and ColorOS 17, but the available sources do not establish the exact setting labels or default values for these controls on every version.

Screen lock and fingerprint unlock
Make sure you have a screen lock you can recall. If fingerprint enrollment is offered, decide whether it suits your needs and follow the phone’s enrollment prompts. OPPO advertises an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor on its product page, but that does not establish the enrollment process or availability on every regional variant.
Notifications and lock-screen visibility
Review which apps are allowed to interrupt you and whether their notification content can appear on the lock screen. Showing less content may improve privacy when the phone is visible to others; allowing selected notifications can make important alerts easier to notice.

Connectivity and location access
Check Wi-Fi, mobile data, Bluetooth, and location access according to your needs. Grant location permission to apps that need it, and review permissions as you install new apps. Carrier compatibility, supported bands, and eSIM availability are not established for every region here, so check with your carrier or local OPPO documentation for those specifics.
App permissions and privacy
Review which apps can access sensitive features such as location, camera, microphone, and contacts. Exact ColorOS labels and controls may differ; searching Settings by the permission or feature name is a practical fallback.

Check the box before buying accessories
OPPO’s China-market specification lists a charger, data cable, SIM ejector, protective case, and quick-start guide with the Find X10. Package contents are not confirmed for every country, so inspect the box or check local OPPO information before buying a spare case, charger, or cable. If you do need an extra, verify compatibility with your exact model.
