Facebook provides birthday-edit instructions for computer, Android, iPhone, iPad, mobile browser, and Facebook Lite. Labels or screens can vary by client; if the English wording differs in your app, follow the equivalent birthday controls. The route is described in Facebook’s birthday help article, which is in Spanish.
What to know before changing it
Facebook limits how often you can change your birthday. If you changed it recently, you may need to wait before editing it again. Facebook’s cited guidance does not specify a fixed number of changes or a waiting period.
Control who can see your birthday
You can choose the audience for your birthday date and year. To limit what friends see, edit the birthday audience in your profile’s basic information. If you do not share the day and month, friends will not receive a notification when your birthday approaches.
