Pokémon Center says only selected customers receive an invitation, and it does not publish the selection criteria. Check your mailbox and sender settings, then review your Pokémon.com marketing preference. Don’t sign up repeatedly or switch email addresses to try to improve your chances.
First, determine whether an invitation was sent
A missing message does not by itself mean delivery failed. Pokémon Center’s Invite Only FAQ, published October 6, 2026, says only selected customers receive an invitation. Newsletter subscription does not guarantee selection, and Pokémon Center does not disclose its selection criteria.
The FAQ says customers in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom are currently eligible for selection. Eligibility does not guarantee selection. Because the FAQ’s regional scope can change, check it for current information.
Check your inbox and sender settings
- Search all folders. Check Spam or Junk and, if you use Gmail, the Promotions tab. Search for “Pokémon Center” and for
pokemon@email.pokemon.com. - Check blocked senders. Make sure
pokemon@email.pokemon.comhas not been blocked or added to a filter that archives or deletes its messages. - Add the sender to your contacts and safe-sender list. Pokémon Center recommends adding
pokemon@email.pokemon.comto both. The instructions appear in its newsletter help article.
Review your Pokémon.com marketing preference
If Pokémon Center newsletters have stopped arriving, check the marketing-communications setting on your account:

- Sign in to your Pokémon.com account.
- Open Profile Overview.
- Find Marketing Preference and toggle the marketing communications option off, then on.
This can address a newsletter preference or delivery issue; it does not establish that you were selected for an invitation or restore an invitation for a past event. Pokémon Center’s newsletter article also says it cannot resend newsletters.
Don’t create duplicate subscriptions or change email addresses
Multiple newsletter subscriptions or different email addresses will not improve your selection odds. Pokémon Center says this may result in an invitation being voided. Its FAQ states: “Creating multiple subscriptions or using different email addresses does not increase the likelihood of receiving an invitation to participate in the Invite Only program.”

If the invitation arrives, use its email address
You do not need an existing Pokémon Center account to receive an invitation. To check out, however, you need an account using the same email address that received the invitation. The invitation link is unique, non-transferable, and single-use; the email gives its expiration date. Pokémon Center says invited items remain subject to available stock through that date, so receiving an invitation does not guarantee an item will still be available.
Use one browser on one device to open the link, shop, and check out. Pokémon Center warns that using multiple browsers or devices may interfere with completing the order. It may disable a link in cases of suspected misuse or policy violations.

Contact support for an account or delivery issue
If the mailbox and preference checks do not resolve an account or delivery problem, contact Pokémon Center Support. For customers in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, the support article lists chat, available 24/7, and email tickets. It says email responses typically take 24 hours, though high-volume periods can cause delays; phone support is unavailable.
The published guidance does not say that support can confirm whether you were selected, resend an invitation, or recover an expired link. Don’t treat contacting support as confirmation that an invitation was issued.

Keep invitation emails separate from queue and order messages
The virtual queue is a separate site-access process, not a way to retrieve an invitation. If you are already in a queue, Pokémon Center’s Virtual Queue guidance says to keep the queue window open and avoid refreshing, opening multiple tabs, or using workarounds. Joining the queue does not guarantee product availability.
An order confirmation is also different from an Invite Only invitation. Guidance about delays to order-confirmation emails during a high-traffic launch does not establish a delivery window for invitation emails.
