To unlock the Stormblood Omega raids in Final Fantasy XIV, reach level 70 on a Disciple of War or Magic, complete the Stormblood main scenario through The Lochs, then accept The Hunt for Omega from Wedge in Rhalgr’s Reach (X:12.6, Y:12.4). Continue the Chronicles of a New Era quests to open the normal raid tiers in order: Deltascape, Sigmascape, then Alphascape.
Requirements to start the Omega questline
The current SQUARE ENIX Lodestone Eorzea Database lists The Hunt for Omega as a level 70 quest for Disciples of War or Magic; limited jobs are excluded. You must also complete the Stormblood main scenario through The Lochs. The database page is identified as Version 7.56.

- Level: 70.
- Job: A Disciple of War or Magic, not a limited job.
- Story: Complete the Stormblood main scenario through The Lochs.
Start the questline and unlock Deltascape
- Go to Rhalgr’s Reach and speak with Wedge at X:12.6, Y:12.4. Accept The Hunt for Omega.
- Complete that quest and follow the Chronicles of a New Era quest prompts.
- To begin the first normal raid tier, accept Into the Deltascape from Cid in the Interdimensional Rift at X:17.3, Y:18.9.
SQUARE ENIX’s Patch 4.01 notes list Deltascape normal as a level 70, eight-player duty with an average item-level requirement of 295 when it launched. The notes also say that Duty Finder solo queue is available after unlocking it. Those are launch-era requirements, not confirmation of the current live item-level gate; check the duty’s in-game entry requirements before queueing.
Unlock Sigmascape and Alphascape
The normal Omega raids progress through three tiers in sequence. They are not alternative starting points.

| Tier | Next quest or predecessor identified by SQUARE ENIX | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Deltascape | Into the Deltascape, after The Hunt for Omega | Accept the quest from Cid in the Interdimensional Rift and follow the quest progression. |
| Sigmascape | Return to the Rift is identified as a prior Chronicles of a New Era quest in the Patch 4.2 notes. | Continue the Omega questline and follow the quest log to the Sigmascape unlock. |
| Alphascape | Test World of Ruin precedes In the Beginning, There Was Chaos, according to the Patch 4.4 notes. | Continue the quest log through the prerequisite and accept the Alphascape opening quest when it becomes available. |
The official patch-note details establish these predecessor quests, but do not provide a sufficiently reliable complete list of every intermediate normal-mode quest giver and location. Use the in-game quest log for the next step rather than relying on an assumed full sequence. Patch 4.2 describes Sigmascape normal as a level 70, eight-player duty; Patch 4.4 lists Alphascape normal as level 70, eight players, and average item level 355 at launch. The item-level figures are historical launch requirements and may not represent the current entry gates.

Savage is a separate difficulty path, not an automatic unlock from opening a normal tier. The official Patch 4.05 notes say level 70 players can access Deltascape Savage at the Magitek Terminal in Rhalgr’s Reach (X:13.5, Y:12.4) after completing The Anomaly. Sigmascape Savage and Alphascape Savage also have separate entry conditions; unlocking their normal versions alone does not satisfy those conditions. Check the relevant duty information and quest prompts in-game for the tier you intend to enter.
