1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsThere is no universal LSFG-Android setting that fixes every stutter, visual artifact, or input delay. Start by recording your device and frame-rate conditions, then determine whether the problem is dropped frames, generated-image quality, or the added delay of Android’s capture-and-overlay pipeline. The project says its Android path adds roughly 50–80 ms of latency compared with its Linux Vulkan layer, so settings may help a particular symptom without removing that architectural cost.
First, identify what is going wrong
“Stuttering,” “artifacts,” and “latency” describe different problems. Treating them as interchangeable can lead to changing the wrong setting. Before adjusting anything, note the device and GPU, Android version, LSFG-Android build, game or emulator, game frame rate, display refresh rate, selected multiplier, and the specific symptom. Change one control at a time and record whether the result improves or worsens.
- Stutter: motion appears uneven or frames seem to be missed.
- Artifacts: generated frames show visual defects, such as ghosting, distorted edges, or damaged-looking UI.
- Latency: controls feel delayed, or the displayed result seems to trail input.
Check whether your device is within the project’s stated scope
The LSFG-Android README describes the project as targeting Android 10/API 29 or newer, with arm64-v8a as the production ABI and x86_64 for emulators. It reports end-to-end operation on Adreno 7xx-class GPUs and newer. These are project-stated scope claims, not a certified list of phones or a guarantee that every game will perform well. If your GPU falls outside that stated class, the reviewed documentation does not establish that frame generation will work adequately on your device. See the LSFG-Android project README for current project information.
The project is an unofficial Android port of the lsfg-vk frame-generation pipeline, not the desktop Lossless Scaling app running through an identical rendering path. Its README explains that non-rooted Android cannot hook another app’s Vulkan swapchain as the Linux implicit layer does. Instead, it captures the screen using MediaProjection and composites generated frames in a system overlay. This distinction matters: desktop settings and assumptions do not automatically transfer to Android.

- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
- 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
- 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)
Diagnose stutter before tuning frame-generation controls
Stutter can come from missed rendering deadlines rather than a defect in the generated image. Android Developers explains that a 60 FPS UI has a frame budget under 16 ms; missing that window can result in a dropped frame that users perceive as stutter. Its guidance recommends visual inspection and tools such as Profile GPU Rendering and Systrace to investigate Android rendering jank. These are general Android diagnostics, not tools that directly diagnose LSFG-Android’s native frame-generation path. Read Android’s rendering-jank guidance.
- Establish a repeatable baseline. Record the game or emulator, its frame rate, display refresh rate, LSFG-Android build, multiplier, and when the stutter occurs. Keep other conditions as consistent as possible while testing.
- Check for broader rendering jank. If the game or interface also looks uneven without LSFG active, investigate Android rendering performance generally. Profile GPU Rendering and Systrace may help identify jank in Android apps, but they do not by themselves explain LSFG’s native pipeline.
- Test one LSFG control at a time. The project lists pacing presets, target-FPS cap, queue depth, EMA jitter smoothing, and vsync alignment/slack among its controls. Test only a relevant control, compare against the baseline, and revert a change that makes pacing worse.
The LSFG-Android README does not provide a guaranteed mapping from a particular stutter pattern to a particular setting. These controls are things to investigate, not proven fixes for every game or device. Check the project’s current settings documentation for the controls available in your build.

- SUPERIOR COMFORT — Unlike traditional circular ear buds, the design of EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other ear bud–style headphones.
- HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO — The speakers inside EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.
- BUILT-IN REMOTE — EarPods with USB-C plug also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
- COMPATIBILITY — Works with all devices that have a USB-C port.
- INTEGRATED MICROPHONE — A built-in microphone precisely captures your voice while you’re on the phone, taking a FaceTime call, or summoning Siri — so you’re always heard loud and clear.
Investigate artifacts separately from frame pacing
If motion is smooth but individual generated frames look wrong, focus on image quality rather than treating the issue as ordinary dropped-frame stutter. Note what is affected—moving characters, fine edges, screen borders, or UI—and whether the defect occurs consistently or only during fast motion. The project lists anti-artifacts and flow scale as controls to inspect, but its README does not prescribe a guaranteed setting for each defect type.
Lossless Scaling’s official desktop update notes have addressed frame pacing, ghosting, and artifact-related behavior in different releases. That shows why software version can matter, but it does not establish that a desktop update fixes an Android-port symptom. Check the LSFG-Android project’s own release information for a change that matches your build and problem before expecting an update to help. View Lossless Scaling’s official update notes.

Other controls listed by LSFG-Android include multiplier and performance/HDR mode. Evaluate them one at a time if they are relevant to the symptom, using the same scene and conditions for each comparison. The documentation does not establish a universal best combination.
Understand the Android latency trade-off
According to the LSFG-Android README, the Android implementation adds roughly 50–80 ms of latency compared with the Linux Vulkan layer. This is the project’s stated comparison, not an independent device-by-device benchmark or a result guaranteed for every phone. The project attributes the Android path to MediaProjection screen capture and system-overlay compositing rather than the Linux layer’s swapchain hook.

If your main complaint is added input delay, tuning artifact or pacing controls should not be expected to remove that capture-and-overlay cost. The project does not document a setting that eliminates it. Its README also says each MediaProjection session requires explicit user consent and displays a persistent system indicator, and describes the app as sideloaded rather than distributed through Google Play.

The official Lossless Scaling introduction recommends a 60 FPS in-game baseline and a 120 Hz display for best quality, while noting that some games can work at 30 FPS with a 60 Hz display up to 1080p. This is general LSFG guidance, not a validated Android preset; treat it as context for a controlled test, not a promise that those numbers will solve a problem on LSFG-Android. What to include when asking for a targeted diagnosis
A specific fix cannot be established from the symptom name alone. When reporting a problem, include the device and GPU, Android version, LSFG-Android build, game or emulator, game frame rate, display refresh rate, multiplier, and a reproducible description of the stutter, artifact, or delay. Say which control you changed and what happened. This makes it possible to distinguish a project-specific issue from a hardware-scope, rendering-jank, or pipeline-latency limitation.
