It lists prices for three models; the fifth model and the Outdoor Camera 4K Plus price are not established in the report passage.
Which new Ring cameras are identified?
A Cinco Días / El País Smartlife report published October 7, 2026 describes a five-camera Spanish lineup. The report names four devices:
- Ring Outdoor Camera 4K Plus: an outdoor 4K model. The report passage does not provide its price or detailed specifications.
- Ring Floodlight Camera 4K Plus: an outdoor 4K camera paired with a dual floodlight rated at 2,000 lumens.
- Ring Indoor Camera 4K: a fixed indoor 4K camera with a reported 115-degree field of view, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, and a physical privacy shutter.
- Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Camera 2K: an indoor 2K camera with reported 360-degree horizontal pan, 175-degree tilt, motion detection, and tracking.
The report passage does not identify the fifth camera. Its name, price, and launch status cannot be safely inferred from the four models it names.
What prices did the report give for Spain?
These are prices reported for Spain in the October 7, 2026 article, not guaranteed current offers or prices for other countries.

How should you choose between the 4K and 2K models?
Start with where the camera will go and what it needs to cover. The identified models are not interchangeable simply because some share a resolution: the lineup includes outdoor cameras, fixed indoor coverage, a floodlight-equipped camera, and an indoor pan-tilt camera.

What are the network and battery trade-offs of higher resolution?
Ring warns that 2K and 4K video can consume more internet data, affect streaming and notification performance, and—on battery-powered devices—drain the battery faster. Network conditions also influence video quality. A camera’s resolution therefore does not guarantee that every live view or recording will appear at that resolution under every connection condition.

Ring’s support documentation on 2K and 4K devices and data-usage settings lists devices that natively stream and record in those resolutions and explains how to adjust usage settings for supported 4K cameras. That page is UK regional documentation; consult Ring’s corresponding help page for Spain-specific instructions.

Ring changed some product names in July and August 2026 to add resolution labels such as 2K and 4K. According to Ring’s naming-change explanation, the renaming did not change device hardware, firmware, or features. A product previously sold under another name may therefore appear with a resolution-based name in the app or on Ring’s website; compare the actual model and specifications rather than treating the name change as a hardware upgrade.
