For a Deliveroo robot delivery in the UK, report missing, damaged or incorrectly described items through the Deliveroo Application. Deliveroo’s UK terms direct customers to use the Application, but do not specify a particular menu path or separate complaint form.
Report missing, damaged or incorrect items in the Application
Check the items when you collect them. If anything is missing, damaged or not as described, tell Deliveroo through the Application. Deliveroo’s UK terms state: “If your Items are missing, damaged or not as described when you collect them, please tell us through the Application.” Deliveroo’s UK terms do not give exact current button names or in-app navigation steps, so use the Application’s available help or order-support options rather than relying on an unverified menu sequence.
Deliveroo partner guidance lists other examples of orders that may be considered not right, such as cold items or an extremely late order. That guidance is written for partners; it does not establish a consumer reporting procedure or guarantee that a refund will be approved. Partner refund guidance
Know which drop-off and collection rules apply
Meet the robot at the confirmed drop-off point
A robot order may not arrive at your door. You provide an address and delivery pin, then Deliveroo confirms a safe, accessible point outside the address that the delivery provider can reach. The confirmed point may differ from the address and is shown before you place the order. The customer is responsible for meeting the robot there and collecting the order.

Use the Application to collect the order
Deliveroo says the Application notifies you when the robot is on its way and when it arrives. Use the Application to open the robot, remove the items and close the lid.
If you cannot reach the point
If you cannot collect at the confirmed point, Deliveroo’s UK terms say you can order from the partner’s usual menu for rider delivery and contact Deliveroo through the Application for help arranging this. The terms also say customers with mobility issues who cannot reach the confirmed point should not select Robot Delivery.

If you miss the collection window
The Application shows the remaining time in the Collection Window. If you have not collected the order by the end of that window, the robot leaves and returns it to the partner. Deliveroo’s UK terms say you will be charged for the items and delivery and will not be refunded.
If robot delivery becomes unavailable after confirmation
If robot delivery becomes unavailable after Deliveroo sends its Confirmation Notice, the UK terms say Deliveroo will cancel the order without charge and refund any payment already made. Deliveroo may instead arrange delivery by rider.

Use the consumer route, not partner support
For a customer’s robot-delivery problem, the stated reporting route is the Deliveroo Application. Deliveroo’s UK and Northern Ireland Partner Help Centre lists Partner Hub Help and weekday live chat for partner enquiries; its phone number is for Partner Hub login and urgent live-order support, not general consumer complaints. These instructions are based on Deliveroo’s UK terms. Robot Delivery is offered only in selected locations and from selected partners, and depends on availability, weather and road conditions. Terms may differ outside the UK.
