Both cited pages show a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh. These are Xiaomi specifications from different markets, not results from a controlled comparison.

Battery and charging: the Pro Max’s strongest on-paper advantage
Xiaomi lists a typical capacity of 9,210mAh for the Pro Max and 8,340mAh for the Pro, alongside maximum charging rates of 100W and 67W respectively. The Pro Max’s listed 100W rate depends on a compatible PPS adapter, and Xiaomi Chile says the adapter is not included. Xiaomi Mexico lists an adapter with the Pro but notes that package contents may differ by market.

#1 Best Overall
- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
The larger stated capacity does not establish how much longer the Pro Max lasts in everyday use. Xiaomi’s launch release claims up to three days of use per charge for the Pro Max, but that is a manufacturer claim rather than an independently measured head-to-head result. Actual runtime depends on usage and conditions, and no comparative battery testing is established here. See Xiaomi’s August 27, 2026 launch release.
Display: similar core specifications, with a listed HDR difference
Both cited Xiaomi pages specify a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with refresh rates up to 120Hz. Xiaomi Chile’s Pro Max page additionally lists HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. The consulted Mexico Pro page does not list those formats; that omission alone does not prove they are absent from every regional version.

Performance: different Snapdragon chipsets, no measured winner established
The Chilean Pro Max listing names the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5, while the Mexican Pro listing names the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4. Those model names distinguish the published configurations, but specifications alone do not show the size of any real-world performance difference. No independent, same-condition performance comparison is established here.
Cameras and video: compare the recording formats, not just megapixels
Rear cameras
Both listings name a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). Xiaomi gives the Pro Max an f/1.5 aperture and 6P lens, versus f/1.8 and a 5P lens for the Pro. The Pro Max page lists rear video up to 4K at 30fps; the Pro page lists up to 1080p at 30fps. These listed differences do not establish which phone takes better photos or performs better in video; that requires comparative testing.

Front cameras
Xiaomi lists a 32MP front camera and 4K front video for the Pro Max, compared with a 16MP front camera and 1080p at 30fps for the Pro. A higher listed megapixel count or recording resolution is not, by itself, a measure of image quality.
Which model should you choose?
Choose the Pro Max if its listed features match your priorities
- You want the larger stated battery capacity and higher listed charging rate.
- You need the rear 4K/30fps or front 4K video recording listed for that regional version.
- You are willing to check whether a compatible PPS adapter is included or buy one separately if you want the listed 100W maximum.
Consider the Pro if its listed features are sufficient
- A 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with up to 120Hz meets your needs.
- Its listed 8,340mAh typical battery and 67W charging suit your priorities.
- 1080p/30fps rear and front video is adequate for your use.
This is a feature-based choice, not a value-for-money verdict: comparable current prices, local stock, and exact market configurations have not been established. Check local official listings before deciding.

Check your region before buying
The comparison uses Xiaomi’s Chilean Pro Max page and Mexican Pro page, so it is not a same-market comparison. Xiaomi cautions that connectivity bands, AI feature availability, and other details can vary by region. Check your country’s official Xiaomi page for the model sold locally, its configuration, price, availability, and package contents. In particular, do not assume the two models include identical adapters or that every feature shown on one regional page applies everywhere.
