Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesIf a page or preferred URL is missing from Google Search, first identify which stage is responsible: discovery, crawling, indexing, canonical selection, or showing the page for a particular query. Passing Google’s technical eligibility checks does not guarantee indexing, and even an indexed page may not appear for every search.
How to diagnose a missing page
Use Search Console to inspect the exact URL you expect Google to show. The result can help distinguish whether Google has not discovered the page, could not fetch it, crawled it without indexing it, selected a different canonical URL, or indexed it without showing it for the query you checked. Google separates crawling, indexing, and serving results; success at one stage does not guarantee the next. See Google’s guide to how Search works.
1. Confirm Google can access the page
Google’s technical eligibility requirements are that Googlebot is not blocked, the page returns HTTP 200, and it has indexable content. These are eligibility checks, not a promise that Google will index the page. Use URL Inspection for the specific URL. The Page Indexing and Crawl Stats reports can provide additional information about access and crawling problems. See Google’s technical requirements and troubleshooting crawling errors.
- Check for a robots.txt rule blocking Googlebot, login requirements, network problems, or server errors.
- Confirm the page returns HTTP 200 and contains content Google can index.
- If you want to keep a page out of the index, do not rely on robots.txt alone: blocking crawling can prevent Google from seeing page-level directives. Google’s technical guidance says to use
noindexwhile allowing crawling.
2. Check whether Google has discovered and crawled it
Google may not know about a new URL yet, or crawling may be delayed by site availability or serving capacity. Google says most sites should not expect same-day crawling for new pages and describes several days as a minimum for most sites. A sitemap can help Google discover URLs, but it does not guarantee indexing or ranking. See Google’s crawling troubleshooting guidance and sitemap guidance.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
If you manage the URL, use URL Inspection in Search Console to request recrawling. Google says crawling can take from a few days to a few weeks; repeated requests do not make the same URL crawl faster, and a request does not guarantee that the page will appear in Search. See Ask Google to recrawl your website.
3. If it was crawled, find out why it was not indexed
A successful crawl does not mean Google will add the page to its index. Google identifies low content quality, robots meta directives, and site design that makes indexing difficult among possible issues. Its troubleshooting guidance also notes that Google may decide a page offers insufficient value or user demand. Review the page’s directives, accessibility, and usefulness rather than treating a crawl as proof of indexing. See Google’s crawling and indexing troubleshooting guidance and its crawling and indexing FAQ.

4. Check whether Google chose another URL as canonical
For identical or very similar primary content, Google groups URLs and selects a canonical—the URL it considers the most complete and useful representative. Your preferred URL is a signal, not a command: Google says, “indicating a canonical preference is a hint, not a rule.” A different URL appearing in Search can therefore reflect deduplication rather than a penalty or duplicate-content violation. See What is URL canonicalization.
Google describes redirects and rel="canonical" annotations as strong canonical signals, while sitemap inclusion is weak. Consistent signals can increase the chance that Google selects the URL you prefer, but Google may still choose another one. See How to specify a canonical with rel=”canonical” and other methods.

- Use a redirect when a URL has permanently moved and the old URL should lead to the preferred one.
- Use
rel="canonical"when similar pages should remain accessible but you want to identify the preferred version. - Include the preferred URL in your sitemap, while recognizing that sitemap inclusion is a weaker signal than a redirect or canonical annotation.
5. If the page is indexed, check the query and context
Indexing does not guarantee that Google will show a page for a particular search. Google may consider the content irrelevant to the query, low quality, or ineligible to be served because of robots meta rules. Results may also vary with the searcher’s location, language, and device. Verify the indexed URL and assess visibility against the actual query and context rather than assuming that absence from one result set means the page is not indexed. See Google’s troubleshooting guidance and its guide to ranking systems.

Google Search Central states that Google does not guarantee it will crawl, index, or serve a page, even when the page follows Google Search Essentials. Google also does not accept payment to crawl a site more frequently or rank it higher. Fixing access, discovery, or canonical signals can address a specific problem, but none of those actions guarantees inclusion or a particular ranking. See Google’s in-depth guide to how Google Search works.
