The EcoFlow DELTA 2 Max remains a capable alternative with the same 2048Wh nominal capacity and a lower expansion ceiling that may be enough for a smaller production or backup setup. These comparisons use manufacturer specifications, not matched hands-on tests; check the regional model and current local price before choosing.
How the two power stations compare
Both units list 2048Wh of nominal capacity, so neither has an advantage in stored energy at its base configuration. That figure does not promise a fixed runtime: actual usable energy and operating time depend on the load, output type, conversion losses, temperature, device cycling and reserve settings.

Output ratings are not interchangeable with EcoFlow’s X-Boost claims. Before connecting production equipment, check the continuous output rating, local voltage and outlet configuration for the exact model, as well as the equipment’s startup draw. EcoFlow’s U.S. and European pages describe X-Boost differently, so use the page for the market where you will buy.
Which is better for a creator’s workload?
Drone creators using supported DJI aircraft
The DJI Power 2000 has a specific advantage if you own a supported DJI aircraft: DJI documents charging selected aircraft batteries through compatible SDC cables. Check that your aircraft and cable are among the supported combinations on DJI’s support page. This is not a general fast-charging solution for every drone or camera system, and the reviewed EcoFlow material does not establish an equivalent aircraft-specific path.

Editors charging laptops and mobile gear
DJI lists two USB-C ports rated up to 140W, compared with EcoFlow’s U.S. listing of up to 100W per USB-C port. That makes DJI the more promising option for a high-draw laptop charged directly from the station—but only if the laptop supports USB Power Delivery 3.1 and the cable is EPR-compliant. A standard USB-C cable or a device that cannot negotiate the required power will not deliver 140W. For other laptops, compare the computer’s actual charging requirements with the station’s ports and the laptop’s supplied charger.
Productions with higher AC loads
DJI’s listed 3000W output exceeds the DELTA 2 Max’s 2400W U.S. specification on paper. This may matter when powering multiple devices or equipment with a high draw, but it is not a guarantee that every load will work: confirm your local unit’s rating and account for startup surges as well as steady-state consumption. Neither figure here comes from an independent, matched load test.

Long shoots, backup, and expansion
Both stations support expansion, but DJI’s stated ceiling is much higher: up to 22,528Wh with ten expansion batteries, versus EcoFlow’s 6144Wh with two extra batteries. DJI is the stronger fit if you have a concrete plan for a large, expandable power system. EcoFlow’s lower ceiling can still suit a smaller field setup or backup arrangement. Expansion batteries add equipment to buy and transport, so choose based on the actual loads and duration you need rather than the maximum number alone.
Moving between locations
At approximately 22kg for DJI and 23kg for EcoFlow’s European model, both are substantial units. They are better suited to vehicle-supported shoots or setups where the station can remain in place than to repeated carrying over long distances. Include loading, stairs and crew handling in your decision.

Charging inputs and recharge claims
Both stations support solar charging. DJI also documents car-alternator charging and simultaneous AC/DC charging; EcoFlow promotes dual AC-and-solar charging. The available input method and compatible accessories may matter more to a field workflow than a headline recharge time. Marketing recharge times are based on varying conditions and should not be treated as a controlled comparison between these products. Check the relevant DJI support information and EcoFlow U.S. product listing for supported charging options.
Longevity, noise, and backup claims
Cycle-life figures are not directly comparable tests
DJI says the Power 2000 retains over 80% capacity after 4000 cycles, with its stated test conditions of a 25°C laboratory environment, standard recharge mode and 2000W discharge to external devices. EcoFlow’s European DELTA 2 Max page states 3000 cycles until 80% capacity. These are manufacturer claims with different stated conditions, not independent results from a common test. UPS transfer behavior
DJI states that the Power 2000 can start powering connected devices within 0.01 seconds in UPS mode; EcoFlow’s European page gives a 20ms switching figure. Those vendor specifications do not establish compatibility with every sensitive device. If uninterrupted power is essential, check the equipment manufacturer’s requirements and verify the setup before relying on either station.
EcoFlow noise figure
EcoFlow’s European page lists 30dB operating noise at approximately 20 inches, with low input and 500W output. That is a condition-specific manufacturer figure, not a general noise rating for every operating mode or load.

How to choose between them
- Choose DJI Power 2000 if you use supported DJI aircraft and can use its documented SDC charging path, need the higher listed AC output, can take advantage of compatible 140W USB-C charging, or have a realistic need for its larger expansion system.
- Choose EcoFlow DELTA 2 Max if its 2400W U.S. output and 6144Wh maximum expansion cover your needs, and the specific port and charging options suit your equipment. The shared 2048Wh base capacity means you do not give up nominal stored energy at the starting configuration.
- Compare local prices and bundles before deciding on value. Prices and included accessories change, and the available manufacturer pages do not provide a reliable same-market, same-date price comparison.
For either model, estimate the combined load of the gear you plan to run, identify devices with high startup draw, and decide whether you need direct USB-C charging or a specific aircraft-battery charging path. Then confirm the local model’s output, supported accessories and charging inputs. No matched creator-workload runtime is established by the cited manufacturer information, so a promised number of shoot hours or camera-battery charges would depend on assumptions about your equipment and usage.
