First, check where you expect to find the game: in the Netflix app on a phone or tablet, in an app store, on a TV, or in a computer browser. Netflix’s mobile games and its TV/browser games are separate experiences, so the right fix depends on the platform.
For mobile games, the most common checks are the Netflix profile’s maturity setting, the device’s operating system and game-specific requirements, and whether the Netflix app is up to date. For TV or browser games, check country and device eligibility instead.
Why a Netflix game may not appear
- The selected profile restricts it. A game may be hidden if its maturity rating is higher than the profile allows. Netflix Kids profiles do not display Netflix Games.
- The device does not meet that title’s requirements. Operating-system minimums vary by platform, and individual games may require newer software or specific hardware.
- The Netflix app is out of date. On Android, an outdated app can prevent the Mobile Games row or Games shortcut from appearing.
- You are looking on an unsupported platform. Mobile games are installed on phones and tablets; they cannot be played on TVs. TV and computer-browser games have separate country and device eligibility.
- The title is not available yet or temporarily unavailable. A game may not appear until its release, or it may be taken offline temporarily for updates or fixes.
These checks are independent: a compatible device does not override a profile restriction, and a permissive profile does not make an unsupported device eligible.
Fix missing games on an Android phone or tablet
- Update Netflix. Open the Google Play Store, find Netflix, and install an update if one is available. Reopen Netflix and look for the Games shortcut or Mobile Games row.
- Check Android version. In Settings, open About phone or About tablet and find the Android version. Netflix’s “Can’t find a Netflix game” guidance lists Android 8 or later as the mobile minimum. Its broader mobile-games page recommends Android 9 or later for the best experience across games. A particular game may require a newer version.
- Check the profile’s maturity setting. Select a profile allowed to view the game’s rating, or review the profile’s maturity settings in Netflix. Netflix says a game above the selected profile’s maturity level will not appear in the app.
- Search Google Play directly. Netflix games can also be found and installed through Google Play. If prompted, sign in with the Netflix account and choose the profile you intend to use.
- Check account and device basics. Confirm that the Netflix membership is active, the device has internet access for downloading, and there is enough storage. If Netflix reports a device limit, sign out of devices you no longer use to free a slot.
Fix missing games on an iPhone or iPad
- Check iOS or iPadOS. Go to Settings > General > About. Netflix’s missing-game guidance lists iOS/iPadOS 15.0 or later as the minimum. Its general mobile-games guidance recommends iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 for the best experience across games; a particular title may require a newer version.
- Check the selected Netflix profile. The profile’s maturity setting must allow the game’s rating. Netflix Games are not displayed in profiles using the Netflix Kids experience.
- Update Netflix and check the App Store. Install an available Netflix app update, then search the game’s title directly in the App Store. Follow the prompts to sign in to Netflix and select a profile if required.
Understand the difference between minimum and recommended OS versions
Netflix gives different figures for different purposes. The minimums below come from its missing-game troubleshooting page; the higher versions are recommendations for the best experience across mobile games, not universal minimums for every title.

Meeting the listed minimum does not guarantee that every game will run: Netflix notes that individual titles can have additional requirements. Check the title’s app-store listing and dedicated support information before concluding that the device is incompatible.
Fix missing games on a TV
TV games are not mobile downloads. Open Netflix on the TV or streaming device and choose a profile. If Games is not available, check Netflix’s current supported-country information and its device-compatibility control under Manage Access and Devices. A supported TV may still need a software update.

Netflix’s TV game setup requires the Netflix app, a stable internet connection, and a phone or tablet for each player. Netflix recommends 10 Mbps or higher for this TV experience; that is a setup recommendation, not a guarantee that every connection or TV model will be supported. Mobile games themselves cannot be played on TVs.
Fix missing games in a computer browser
Netflix directs computer users to Netflix.com in Chrome or Edge for its TV/browser games experience. If the game rows do not appear, check that your country is supported, use Chrome or Edge, and update the browser. Netflix describes the experience as a beta that is not available in every country or on every device, so eligibility can vary.

What to do if a game is temporarily unavailable
A TV or browser game may be missing while Netflix updates it or fixes an issue. Follow any on-screen error message: Netflix’s guidance distinguishes connection instability, too many people playing on the account, unusually high demand for a game, and game maintenance. If the message indicates the title itself is unavailable, try another game and check again later.
For an announced mobile title, check Netflix’s available-games information after its release. A title that has not launched yet will not necessarily appear in the app or app store.

When to consider a different device
Do not start by replacing a phone or tablet. First check its operating system, the particular game’s requirements, the profile setting, and the Netflix app version. Consider another supported device only if those checks confirm that the current one is incompatible; Netflix’s guidance does not suggest that most missing-game problems require buying new hardware.
