Choose this if you want to follow a Jedi protagonist through an action-adventure built around lightsaber combat, Force abilities, and exploration. Those features make it a clear match for the Jedi fantasy; they do not establish that it is the easiest game for a beginner.

For open-world play: Star Wars Outlaws

Its official description includes exploration, stealth, blaster combat, gadgets, and piloting, so it suits players looking for varied ways to approach encounters and move through a world. StarWars.com lists PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5; check your regional store for the exact edition and current availability.
For campaign and multiplayer battles: Battlefront II
Battlefront II combines a single-player campaign with multiplayer battles featuring heroes and starfighters. If couch play is important, note the platform limitation: StarWars.com specifies two-player offline split-screen on PS4 and Xbox One. Do not assume that same feature applies to other platforms or editions.

For a story-driven online RPG: The Old Republic
The Old Republic is a free-to-play MMORPG in which players can take on roles including Jedi, Sith, and Bounty Hunter. “Free-to-play” describes a way to start without an upfront purchase; it does not establish that every optional feature or piece of content is free. Check the game’s current terms for optional purchases or subscriptions.

For multiplayer, distinguish online play from local offline play. Verify the mode and platform support for the edition you plan to use; the specific split-screen detail established for Battlefront II applies to PS4 and Xbox One, not automatically to other versions.
