Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →To build a strong Tap Force team, start with the game mode, then use that mode’s tier list to shortlist fighters you own and can promote. Balance damage, support, and frontline roles, and check each fighter’s skills and synergies before committing resources. TapForce Companion’s rankings are community guidance, not official developer rankings.
Start with the mode you want to play
There is no single tier list that answers every team-building question. TapForce Companion’s Combat Codex separates rankings for Mech, Club Smash, PvP, Hard Mode, Sewers, and Campaign. A fighter placed highly for one mode is not automatically the best choice in another.
Use the ranking for the content you are tackling, then check the fighter’s entry for stats, skills, role, and synergies. The Combat Codex / TapForce Companion describes itself as an “Unofficial fan site. Not affiliated with Tap Force or its developers.” Treat its placements as a useful community shortlist rather than an official or universally correct verdict.
Turn a tier ranking into a workable lineup
1. Shortlist for your current mode
Choose the relevant list first: Campaign, PvP, Sewers, and Mech content have distinct demands. The tier list is a starting filter, not a command to use a fighter you do not own or cannot build.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
2. Balance roles rather than chasing tiers alone
The Combat Codex fighters-and-factions guide recommends a typical team with one or two damage dealers, one or two supports, and a tank or brawler. Treat that as a flexible starting point: adjust the mix to your available fighters and the mode, rather than forcing an exact formula.
3. Check skills and synergy
Compare candidates by what their skills do and how they work with the rest of your lineup. Faction and synergy information can matter alongside a tier placement; a high-ranked fighter is not useful simply because of the rank if the rest of the team does not support the plan.

- What You Get: Anker USB-C Hub (5-in-1, 4K HDMI), welcome guide, 18-month warranty, and our friendly customer service.
4. Build around fighters you can promote
Account for copies and promotion resources before investing. The Combat Codex beginner guide distinguishes elite fighters intended for teams from food fighters used for promotions, and warns against using an elite fighter as food. Preserve team-worthy elite fighters; use designated food fighters for promotion instead.
5. Reassess as you progress
A lineup that gets you through early content may not be the right target for advanced content. The Combat Codex advanced guide gives a separate mech-team priority, a reminder that late-game objectives can call for a more specialized lineup than a general beginner roster.

A quick decision checklist
- Am I choosing for the mode I actually want to play?
- Does the lineup cover damage, support, and frontline needs?
- Have I checked fighter skills, role, faction, and synergies—not just tier placement?
- Do I own enough copies and promotion resources to build the fighter?
- Am I keeping elite fighters for teams rather than using them as promotion food?
- Does my current progression call for a general roster or a specialized team, such as a mech lineup?
