When does Suri: The Seventh Note release on PlayStation?
The game is scheduled for PS5 on October 30, 2026, according to PlayStation.Blog. Store listings show different local unlock times: the US listing gives 04:00 UTC and the UK listing 00:00 UTC on October 30. These are territory-specific store times, not different release dates; check the PlayStation Store listing for your region if the exact unlock hour matters.

What kind of game is it?
PlayStation describes Suri: The Seventh Note as a rhythm platformer. Music is part of the control challenge: players run, jump, and phase in time with the soundtrack, with handcrafted escape sequences and movement abilities introduced over the adventure. The earlier gameplay announcement likewise frames its musical sequences as synchronized gameplay, rather than treating the score as background only.
Game director Glen Martin says the feedback timing uses a 480 ms interval, selected to balance responsiveness, rhythmic clarity, and gameplay momentum. That is the developer’s account of a design choice, not an independent performance measurement or a universal rule for rhythm games.

Who is Ajira, and what is the story?
Players control Ajira, a young girl seeking a magical fruit that could save her mother. The current store description says her mother’s illness killed her father; the journey then expands beyond the search for the fruit into an effort to restore the island’s rhythmic balance.
Martin says the island’s visual influences include Rajput forts, Theyyam culture, Himalayan monasteries, and regional Indian cultures. These are the director’s descriptions of the game’s inspirations, not a single definition of Indian culture.

Which PS5 edition should you choose?
The US PlayStation Store listing offers Standard and Digital Deluxe editions. The Deluxe listing adds the Chandini skin and Trials of Yama DLC to the base game; Martin’s announcement also says Deluxe includes three-day early access.

The US announcement also described a 20% preorder discount for PlayStation Plus members. Because prices, preorder status, discounts, and early-access availability are time-sensitive and may vary by territory, confirm the current regional store page before buying. Deluxe is the relevant option if its listed extras appeal to you; the Standard edition is the choice without them.

Does it require a DualSense controller or vibration?
No. The UK PlayStation Store listing says vibration is supported and that the game can also be played without controller vibration. A DualSense wireless controller can provide the supported vibration feature, but it is an optional accessory, not a stated requirement or part of the game listing. The listing does not establish how much vibration changes the experience.
