Which mouse is the better fit for your setup?
Pick the Basilisk V3 Pro for gaming controls and a right-handed shape
The Basilisk has more programmable buttons and higher stated maximum sensor figures than the Pro Click Mini. Those specifications can suit a gaming setup where you want more actions close at hand. Its larger, right-handed form and rechargeable power also make it the clearer match if those characteristics fit your preferences.
The wheel offers both notched and free-spinning modes, along with four-way tilt. That combination can be useful when you want tactile scrolling for precise movement and a faster-spinning mode for moving through long pages or lists. Whether its shape and controls work well for you is a matter of personal fit and use.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Pick the Pro Click Mini for quiet, compact, multi-device work
The Mini is physically smaller, ambidextrous and fitted with silent mechanical switches. Those traits make it a practical option for shared or quiet workspaces, or for a desk where a compact mouse is preferable. Its multi-host feature supports connection to up to four devices, which is useful if you switch among several computers.
Its seven independently programmable buttons and four-way tilt wheel still offer configurable controls. The sensor’s maximum figures are lower than the Basilisk’s, but the listed specifications alone do not establish how either mouse performs in a particular game or application.

Hand fit matters more than dimensions alone
The Basilisk measures 130 × 75.4 × 42.5 mm and is designed for right-handed use; the Mini measures 100.2 × 62.7 × 34.2 mm and is ambidextrous. These dimensions describe their size, not how comfortable either will be for a particular hand or grip. If comfort is the deciding factor, try the shape in person when possible rather than treating one as universally better.
Razer’s Pro Click Mini support listing gives its weight as “8g with 1x Alkaline AA battery” and “111g with 2x Alkaline AA batteries.” Because the one-AA figure appears unusually low, confirm it with Razer’s current product information or the packaging instead of relying on it to compare carrying weight.

Razer announced an original Basilisk V3 Pro MSRP of $159.99 USD and a launch date of August 23, 2022. That is historical launch pricing, not a current price. A Razer US shop listing surfaced for the newer Basilisk V3 Pro 35K, a distinct revision, so its listing should not be treated as the price or specification source for the original model. A current like-for-like price for both mice, and current Pro Click Mini availability, are not established here.
Decision checklist
- Choose the Basilisk V3 Pro if you want a larger right-handed mouse, 11 programmable buttons, rechargeable power, wired USB-C fallback or its notched and free-spinning wheel modes.
- Choose the Pro Click Mini if you prefer an ambidextrous compact shape, silent switches, AA batteries or switching among as many as four connected devices.
- Try before you buy if hand comfort is the main concern; the dimensions and handedness do not prove that one mouse will suit every user.
- Check current model and price details before purchasing, especially when a listing says Basilisk V3 Pro 35K rather than Basilisk V3 Pro.
The cited product-fit, feature and battery details come from Razer and Razer Support. They do not establish independent comparative comfort or performance testing.
