To share PlayStation Plus games on a PS5, enable Console Sharing and Offline Play on the console, using the account that owns the games or has the Plus subscription. Other users on that PS5 can then play eligible downloaded games and use selected Plus benefits while the subscription is active.
Enable Console Sharing and Offline Play

Sign in on the PS5 with the account that purchased the games or holds the PlayStation Plus membership you want to share.

Open Settings > Users and Accounts > Other > Console Sharing and Offline Play.

Select Enable.
Sony says sharing is automatically allowed on the first PS5 used to sign in to PlayStation. Once enabled, anyone who uses that console can play games and media purchased and downloaded by the account that enabled sharing, including when the console is offline. Which PlayStation Plus benefits can be shared?
On the enabled PS5, Sony allows other users to access selected Plus benefits while the subscriber’s membership is active. What is available can depend on the subscription plan, current game availability, and parental controls.

What the sharing setting does not cover
It applies to one PS5, not a friend’s separate console
Console Sharing and Offline Play can be enabled on one PS5 at a time. The shared benefits apply to accounts using that enabled console; they do not let you share Plus benefits with a friend using another PS5. Sony also allows selected benefits on one primary PS4, but that does not change the one-PS5 limit.
The subscriber’s account must own or redeem the game
The enabling account must have purchased and downloaded a game, or redeemed a Plus game, for other users on that PS5 to play it. The other user does not gain ownership or a separate Plus redemption. Plus access requires an active membership; Catalog access also depends on the plan and whether the game is still available.

Child accounts remain subject to restrictions
Family members who are children can play only content allowed by their age ratings and parental-control settings. Online multiplayer access is also subject to parental controls.
Move sharing to a different PS5
If another PS5 already has Console Sharing and Offline Play enabled for the account, disable it there before enabling the new console. If you cannot access the old PS5, use device deactivation in PlayStation Account Management. Sony says remote deactivation of all devices can be used once every six months.

Troubleshoot sharing or unavailable games

Enable is unavailable or sharing will not activate: Check whether another PS5 has Console Sharing and Offline Play enabled for the account. Disable it on that console first.

A game or benefit is missing: Confirm that the enabling account purchased or redeemed the game, downloaded it, has an active Plus membership if required, and still has access to the title under its plan.

A game shows a padlock: Sony notes that a padlock can indicate a license or network issue. Check PlayStation service status, install current system software, restart the router after waiting at least five minutes, and restart the PS5. Sony’s sharing support page includes related troubleshooting guidance.
