For the U.S. OnePlus 15, OnePlus lists OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16, security updates through November 13, 2031, and 80W wired or 50W wireless charging. The published Google AI Pro trial deadline—August 1, 2026—has passed. Warranty and store terms below are U.S.-specific; check the terms for your purchase region.
What software and security updates does the OnePlus 15 get?
OnePlus lists the U.S. OnePlus 15 with OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16. That identifies the software version listed on its specifications page; it does not establish how many future major Android upgrades the phone will receive. OnePlus’s published sources reviewed here do not give a major-upgrade count.
OnePlus’s Product Security Update Period page says smartphones and tablets receive a minimum of three years of security updates and lists the OnePlus 15’s period end date as November 13, 2031. OnePlus cautions that actual updates and delivery timing may vary by country or region and model. The end date is not a promise of a particular monthly patch schedule. OnePlus 15 U.S. specifications
What does the OnePlus 15 warranty cover?
For a phone bought from the U.S. OnePlus store, OnePlus’s Terms of Sales describe a one-year limited warranty beginning on delivery. It covers qualifying hardware defects caused by workmanship or build materials, and warranty service is limited to the original country or region of purchase. This is not a worldwide warranty promise; local consumer rights may provide additional protections.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
OnePlus’s North American Notice of Business Adjustment says existing devices will continue to receive software updates, security patches, and after-sales support, and that applicable warranties will be honored under their product terms. That support statement does not extend an individual warranty’s duration or broaden its coverage. Review the terms supplied with your exact purchase and region.
Which charging standards does the OnePlus 15 support?
OnePlus lists up to 80W SUPERVOOC wired charging and up to 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging for the U.S. model. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent charging-time results; the wattage figures alone do not show that wired and wireless charging take equivalent time. The U.S. store page says a charger and USB data cable are included, but its listed page text does not identify the charger’s exact model. Before buying a spare, verify that it explicitly supports the required OnePlus charging standard and has the correct plug for your region. Compatibility of specific third-party chargers is not established by these specifications. OnePlus U.S. store page
Can you still claim the OnePlus 15 Google AI Pro offer?
Not under the offer’s published deadline: OnePlus’s U.S. offer page lists August 1, 2026 as the last redemption date, which had passed by October 7, 2026. The page described a three-month Google AI Pro trial with 2TB of cloud storage for eligible users aged 18 or older, subject to geographic availability and legal restrictions. It said a payment method would be verified to activate the offer and that Google One would charge $19.99 per month after the trial unless cancelled earlier. Treat those details as terms of the expired promotion, not an active benefit. OnePlus U.S. offer page

Because the listed deadline has passed, those instructions do not establish that a new claim is possible; look for a current official offer before relying on one.
