The patchwork villager from Pumpkin Town is Sally. If she isn’t appearing in Disney Dreamlight Valley, first check whether her introduction quest is available or active: Gameloft’s December 4, 2024 Sew Delightful update connects her arrival to messages around Kristoff’s home and Jack Skellington. If Sally is already unlocked, use the map and quest tracker to locate her. A Star Path duty mentioning her is a separate issue, so check the exact duty, event, and platform before troubleshooting it.
Why isn’t the patchwork villager appearing?
The clue refers to Sally, whose patchwork look is described in Gameloft’s Sew Delightful update announcement. A Destructoid guide published October 5, 2026 identifies the phrase “patchwork villager from Pumpkin Town” as Sally.
“Not appearing” can mean three different things: Sally has not been unlocked, she is unlocked but you cannot find her in the Valley, or a Star Path duty is not registering. Check which situation matches your game before trying a fix; the duty counter and the villager’s arrival are not the same progression problem.
How do I unlock Sally?
Gameloft’s December 2024 announcement says Sally’s arrival involves messages appearing around Kristoff’s home and help from Jack Skellington. Check your Quest list for the related quest, then follow its displayed objective. If it is available or active, complete the steps shown in-game rather than relying on an assumed location or an old walkthrough.

- No related quest is available: Check your current quest and character progression, including whether Jack Skellington is in your Valley. The announcement establishes the arrival context, but does not provide a complete list of prerequisites.
- The quest is active: Look at its current objective and inspect the area around Kristoff’s home for the messages described in the introduction.
- The objective appears complete but Sally has not arrived: Treat this as a progression issue. The available official sources do not identify a confirmed Sally-specific bug or a guaranteed recovery method.
Where is Sally after I unlock her?
If Sally is already unlocked, check the in-game map and your quest tracker. The available sources do not document a reliable way to force her to a particular location, so avoid assuming that restarting the game, fast traveling, changing the time, or moving buildings will make her appear. Use the map and the active objective to determine whether she is elsewhere or needed for a quest step.
Why isn’t my patchwork villager duty progressing?
If the clue appears in a Star Path duty, read the exact duty wording and verify that you are looking at the right event and platform. Star Path duties have changed over time: Gameloft’s August 18, 2025 overview says the team removed duties that required specific previously released characters or locked features to improve accessibility. That change does not establish that every later event uses identical duties.

Platform can matter as well. Gameloft’s September 21, 2026 Season of Scares patch notes describe Haunting Elegance as the first Apple Arcade Star Path and say it uses daily duties. Confirm the event and platform before applying advice written for another version. The Star Path Vault announcement describes Routine Duties as a way to earn tokens and unlock Vault items; it does not connect Vault progress to Sally’s arrival or an apparently stuck Sally quest.

If you have followed the active objective and the quest still will not progress, contact Gameloft support and describe the step that is stuck. Include your platform and the exact quest or duty text so support can distinguish a villager unlock problem from a Star Path counter issue. The sources available do not confirm a universal Sally-specific fix.
