Recommended Free Tools
Hello, Peach! and Hello, Luigi! are free, simple character-interaction apps: touch the character to make expressions, explore extra interactions through the ? Block menu, and try peekaboo. Reports say the apps are available on Nintendo Switch and mobile, but mobile listings and device requirements may differ by region. On Switch, check your local Nintendo eShop for the app listing.
Choose a platform and download the app
Recent reports describe both apps as free downloads for Nintendo Switch and mobile devices. On Switch, open the Nintendo eShop and search for Hello, Peach! or Hello, Luigi!; check the listing for your account region before downloading. For mobile, search your local iOS or Android app store and confirm that the listing is available for your region and device. Exact mobile store listings, rollout regions, minimum OS versions, and supported-device requirements have not been established here.
These are lightweight My Mario character-play apps, not conventional Mario games with levels, objectives, or scoring. A Nintendo Switch is needed for the Switch version; no amiibo or other accessory is identified as necessary.
How to play
- Download the app. You need an internet connection to obtain the app or download updates.
- Touch the character. The reported app overview describes stretching or pulling the face, poking, and spinning the character to prompt different expressions.
- Open the ? Block menu. Choose its icons to bring in items such as a Super Mushroom, Super Star, or pipes. The overview also describes enemy appearances.
- Try peekaboo. Tap the leftmost icon in the ? Block menu. Boo may appear during this interaction.
Play offline after downloading
The reported overview says an internet connection is not needed to play after the app has been downloaded. This applies to playing the installed app; it does not mean the initial download or later updates can be completed offline.
#1 Best Overall

Understand the sleep break
After playing for a while, Peach or Luigi falls asleep and further tapping will not wake the character, according to the reproduced app overview. No exact timer is stated. If you want to disable this feature, use the gear icon at the top right when the app starts and turn off the sleep-break setting.
Switch or mobile: what is known
| Platform | Reported route | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Nintendo Switch | Nintendo eShop; reports describe the apps as free downloads. | Search the eShop for your account region to confirm availability. |
| Mobile | Mobile availability is reported, but exact store listings and region rollout are not confirmed. | Check your local iOS or Android store listing for availability, requirements, and compatibility. |
The available reports do not establish feature, control, or performance differences between platforms. A related Hello, Mario! listing cautions that operation is not guaranteed on every device meeting its stated conditions; that is a general caution for a related app, not a confirmed technical specification for Hello, Peach! or Hello, Luigi!.
