One free scan finds every outdated or missing driver and matches the right update for your exact hardware.Free scan · exact hardware matchFor the India-market realme P4 5G, start with the least disruptive fix for the symptom: restart the phone, check the relevant network or app settings, and test whether the problem affects another device or only the P4. Save factory resets and recovery actions for last; a factory reset permanently erases phone data.
realme lists the P4 5G as running realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15. Menu names and software availability can vary by region and installed version, so use the controls shown on your phone rather than assuming every screen matches a fixed walkthrough. See realme’s India specifications.
Start with these checks before changing settings
- Restart the phone if it is responsive. This is a low-risk first step for temporary glitches.
- Identify the scope. Is one app failing, or is the whole phone affected? Does another device have the same Wi-Fi or internet problem? Did the issue begin after an app or system change?
- Check the source before changing the phone. Network faults may involve the router, SIM, carrier coverage or plan, VPN, or phone settings.
- Protect your data. Back up important information before any reset or recovery action. A factory data reset permanently erases phone data.
realme’s general troubleshooting guidance covers these types of checks, but the precise menu labels may differ by software version. Consult realme India Support if the controls on your phone do not match the guidance.
Realme P4 is frozen, has a black screen, or will not turn on
- Hold Power and Volume Up together for at least eight seconds to force-restart the phone, as realme advises.
- If there is no response, connect the phone to power for up to 30 minutes, then try the force restart again.
- If it remains unresponsive, arrange help through an authorized realme service center. Take proof of purchase and warranty information with you.
Do not repeatedly attempt recovery steps if the phone remains unresponsive; realme can advise whether it needs service.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Realme P4 will not connect to Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi is slow
- Check that the router is powered on and the phone is within range. Re-enter the Wi-Fi password if needed.
- Connect another device to the same network. If it also cannot connect or is slow, investigate the router or internet service rather than changing phone settings first.
- On the P4, forget the saved network and connect again, then restart the phone.
- If other devices work but the P4 still has trouble, realme’s troubleshooting page lists clearing WiFiTools data or cache as a later step. Treat it as an advanced, version-dependent action: follow the on-device menu carefully and confirm you have selected the correct item.
Use a factory reset only after less disruptive checks fail and you have backed up the phone. Resetting erases its data.
Realme P4 has no mobile signal or mobile data is not working
- Check for carrier coverage where you are and confirm your plan has remaining data allowance. Contact the carrier if coverage, account limits, or a network fault may be involved.
- Confirm the SIM is enabled, Mobile data is on, and Airplane mode is off.
- Disconnect a VPN temporarily and restart the phone to see whether connectivity returns.
- If the problem persists, power the phone down before reinserting the SIM. If possible, test another SIM or test your SIM in another compatible phone to help distinguish a SIM or carrier issue from a handset issue.
- Check the preferred network setting and, when appropriate, reset the access point names (APN). Labels and paths can vary by realme UI version; contact your carrier before changing APN details if you do not know the correct settings.
realme’s general phone troubleshooting guidance includes SIM, network, VPN, and APN checks; these are not proof that every mobile-data problem is caused by the phone.

Realme P4 apps crash, will not open, or miss notifications
One app crashes or will not open
- Restart the phone and check whether the app has an update available through its usual app store.
- If only that app is affected, clear its cache or reinstall it using the controls available in your installed software version.
- Before clearing app data, check the app’s backup and sign-in behavior. Clearing data may remove information stored only on the phone.
Notifications do not arrive
- Confirm the app has notification permission.
- Check that the phone has a working network connection.
- Review battery-saving or background restrictions that may prevent the app from running or delivering notifications in the background.
Use the exact controls visible on the P4; notification and battery-management labels may differ across software versions.
Realme P4 feels slow or responds with a delay
- Close apps you are not using and remove files you no longer need if storage is tight.
- Clear an app’s cache or troubleshoot that app first if the slowdown happens only there.
- Check for a system update and install one only through an update path intended for your exact model and region.
- realme’s general support guidance suggests restarting weekly as a maintenance measure. Treat that as manufacturer advice, not a guaranteed performance fix.
If the whole phone remains slow after these checks, note when the lag began and whether it followed an app or system change before contacting support.

Back up before a factory reset or recovery update
A factory data reset permanently erases phone data, so it is not a routine first-line fix. Recovery updates also require care: realme advises backing up important data, ensuring sufficient charge or power, and not forcing the device off during an update. Use only firmware and update methods intended for the exact model and region. The available realme pages do not establish a current P4-specific software rollout schedule.
