First identify which connection you mean: Amazon and Twitch, Amazon Prime Gaming and EA, Prime Gaming and Epic Games, or a third-party app authorized on PlayStation. Each service has its own settings and unlinking can affect benefits, rewards, or progress.
Identify the account connection you need to manage
“Amazon account” can mean the Amazon login used for Prime Gaming, the Amazon–Twitch connection for Twitch-specific Prime benefits, or an authorization associated with a game publisher. Use the service pair in the table to find the relevant route; these flows are separate, not one universal Amazon-to-game-platform setting.

Unlink Amazon from Twitch
Twitch and Amazon direct users to Twitch’s Prime Member Perks page or Connections settings to disconnect the accounts. Twitch’s instruction is: “Select Disconnect.” See Twitch’s account-linking guidance and Amazon’s help instructions.
- Open Twitch’s Prime Member Perks page or Connections settings and sign in if prompted.
- Find the Amazon connection and select Disconnect.
- Review the on-screen confirmation before completing the unlink.
Twitch says unlinking removes Twitch-specific Prime benefits described in its guidance, including the channel subscription, exclusive emotes, and Prime chat badge. This does not unlink Amazon from EA or Epic; manage those connections separately.

Link or unlink Amazon Prime Gaming with EA
Link an Amazon account to EA
- Sign in to your EA Account and open Connected Accounts.
- Select Amazon Prime Gaming, then choose Continue to sign in to Amazon.
- Complete the Amazon sign-in and on-screen prompts to authorize the connection.
EA’s linking instructions also identify Connected Accounts as the place to see which accounts are connected.
Unlink an account from EA
- In your EA Account, open Connected Accounts.
- Find the account you want to disconnect and choose Unlink.
- Read EA’s disclaimer and complete identity verification if prompted before confirming.
EA warns that if a platform is later linked to a different EA Account, entitlements such as in-game rewards, points, and items remain with the EA Account first linked. Game progress will not transfer to a different EA Account. EA’s page also describes limits on changing linked accounts; check the warning shown for your account rather than assuming one relinking limit applies to everyone.

Resolve an Amazon Prime Gaming and Epic Games connection
Epic describes connecting an Amazon Prime account as a way to claim Prime Gaming content. For Prime Gaming problems or questions about unlinking the connection, Epic directs users to Amazon Games Prime Gaming support. Follow the instructions there for your account; Epic’s guidance does not establish a detailed, universal unlink sequence.
Unlink a third-party app authorized on PlayStation
Use this route only when the connection is an app authorization on your PlayStation account, not simply an Amazon–Twitch or Prime Gaming–publisher link.

- Sign in to PlayStation Account Management.
- Select Authorized Apps and choose the app.
- Select Unlink, then Yes to confirm.

- Check the exact account pair and service: a Twitch disconnect does not undo an EA or Epic connection.
- Read the service’s current warning before confirming. EA’s account-specific disclaimer may include identity verification and details about linked-account changes.
- Do not assume benefits, rewards, items, or progress will move to another account. EA specifically says progress will not transfer to a different EA Account and that certain entitlements remain with the first linked EA Account.
Settings, benefit terms, and account-specific restrictions can change. If the labels or options differ from these instructions, use the linked official support page for the service you are managing.
