To find a Reel you have already saved, open your Facebook profile, go to Reels, then select Saved Reels. Meta says that saved-Reels page is visible only to you. To save a Reel, use the save control shown on that Reel; its exact label and steps can vary with Facebook’s interface.
How to save a Facebook Reel
While viewing the Reel, use the save control Facebook displays for it. The exact current button or menu sequence can vary, so follow the control shown in your app or on the site rather than relying on a particular icon or label.
Saving a Reel adds it to your saved-items list; it does not download a copy to your device.
Where to find saved Reels
- Open your Facebook profile.
- Go to the Reels section.
- Select Saved Reels, then choose the Reel you want to watch.
This is the retrieval route described by Meta’s Facebook Help Center. Facebook’s labels and navigation may change, so the exact placement can differ between versions or devices.

Can other people see your saved Reels?
Meta says the page containing your saved Reels and videos is visible only to you. This refers to your saved-items page; it does not determine who can see the original Reel or what its creator has shared.
If you did not save the Reel
To look for a Reel you did not save, browse the Reels section or check your Feed. Meta says Facebook renamed the Videos tab to Reels in June 2025. Meta also describes using search in the Feeds tab to discover Reels that are not personalized specifically to you. These options can help you rediscover a Reel, but they are not a replacement for Saved Reels when you want to retrieve something you saved.
