1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsIf you mean Divinity II—specifically the Broken Valley Bandit Camp and the “Daylight Robbery” quest—the event may not trigger because of the order in which you handled the camp. Reporting its location to Louis or the Commander, or helping the seekers clear it, can make the quest unavailable. These steps apply to that quest, not to other games with bandit camps or robbery events.
First, confirm this is the right game
The title is ambiguous. The troubleshooting below is for Divinity II, including the Dragon Knight Saga version, and the Broken Valley quest “Daylight Robbery.” The supporting reports are player discussions on the Larian Studios forum and a second Larian forum thread. If you are playing a different game, these quest-state details may not apply.

Check whether you reported the camp to Louis or the Commander
Reporting the bandits’ location can change the camp’s state. A Larian forum response says camp quests can be done before informing Louis; after turning in the related quest and revealing the location, the bandits may become hostile. A separate discussion connects reporting the bandits to the Commander with the camp NPCs disappearing and the camp becoming hostile. See the Larian discussion about Louis and the thread about the Commander.
- Camp is hostile: Consider whether you already reported its location. Hostility may be a consequence of that quest choice rather than a temporary event glitch.
- Bandit NPCs are missing: Check your quest history and dialogue choices for a report to Louis or the Commander. The forum accounts describe this as a possible explanation, not a guaranteed diagnosis.
Check whether the seekers cleared the camp
If you helped the seekers wipe out the bandits before completing “Daylight Robbery,” the quest may no longer be completable. Larian Support participant Raze cautioned that you “may not be able to complete that” after helping the seekers clear the place. The advice appears in the Larian support discussion.
#1 Best Overall
- Go anywhere, talk to anyone, and interact with everything! Kill any NPC without sacrificing your progress, and speak to every animal. Even ghosts might be hiding a secret or two!

- Play with your friends online (up to 4 players) or in local split-screen with drop-in/drop-out multiplayer. PvP hot-seat mode: Battle your friends in round-robin, hero to hero!
- Story mode: A new difficulty setting for players who wish to enjoy the lauded narrative, but still want to enjoy the combat.
- An entirely re-written journal to catalogue your journey and reflect on your quests. Character romance, disagreements, and unique quest-lines pushing the boundaries between fellowship and feud!
Look for the quest start if the camp is still intact
If you have not committed to either conflicting path and “Daylight Robbery” has not started, check the camp and the robbery scene. A Neoseeker walkthrough excerpt indexed in search results points to Ragnar in the Bandit Camp or approaching the robbery as likely start points. It also warns that turning in “Into the Bandit’s Den” to Louis can make “Daylight Robbery” fail. The walkthrough page could not be independently opened, so treat those start points as lower-confidence guidance and check your quest log in your game version.
- Return to the Bandit Camp and look for Ragnar, including in a tent. This route is community guidance, not a guaranteed trigger.
- Check whether the robbery scene is already underway or nearby, since approaching it may start the quest.
- Review your journal for “Daylight Robbery” and “Into the Bandit’s Den,” and note whether either has been completed or turned in to Louis.
A player walkthrough post recommends finishing the camp quests and triggering “Daylight Robbery” before telling Louis the password or location. This is an ordering suggestion from players, not a current developer-published quest guide.

- Flexible character system: In Titan Quest 2, you are in control of you own fate. Customize your hero, then form your own class by combining two masteries to match your playstyle
- Meaningful loot: Every item serves a function and every class has many options. Even the most common spear can be upgraded into a unique item spoken of only in legend!
- Challenging action RPG combat: Enemies form factions and work together, combining their unique skills and abilities to keep you on your toes. Access every skill at your disposal to vanquish them!
- A beautiful, handcrafted world rooted in Greek myth: Traverse stunning vistas with your divine mount, explore lovingly designed levels full of verticality, and uncover secret locations
- Online multiplayer: Join up with friends to take on the Goddess of Retribution. Like Jason and the Argonauts, sometimes you need a group of heroes for your journey
If you already made the conflicting choice
If the camp has been cleared for the seekers or you have reported its location, look for an earlier save from before that decision. The forum accounts indicate the quest may become unavailable after those choices, but they do not establish a guaranteed way to restore it. There is no supported evidence here for a console command, save editor, or reset; leaving and re-entering the camp should not be assumed to reverse the quest state.

The cited Larian forum discussions date from February 2010 and August 2011, and the Ragnar guidance comes from a walkthrough excerpt that was not accessible directly. They describe historical quest behavior; they do not confirm a current patch fix or a universal recovery method. If your game, edition, or quest state differs, verify the journal and dialogue choices rather than applying these steps as universal advice.
