No specific set dimensions or release date have been announced, so you can plan a storage system now but should wait to buy a fitted display case until the model’s size is known. Here’s how to display and store LEGO Hello Kitty sets without losing pieces, using LEGO’s general brick-storage guidance.
How to keep LEGO pieces from getting lost
For a particular set, keep its spare or temporarily removed pieces separate from bricks belonging to other sets. LEGO recommends sorting by color, set, size, or type; sorting by set is the most useful choice when your priority is keeping one model’s parts together. LEGO lists clear storage bins, tool or craft boxes, sandwich bags, plastic drawer systems, food-storage containers, LEGO storage bricks, and minifigure display cases among its storage options. LEGO’s brick-storage guidance does not identify one universally best method.
- Choose a container with compartments or use a separate closed bag for each set’s loose pieces.
- Label each compartment or bag with the set name or number. Keep the building instructions and set identifier nearby.
- Close the container after building or handling the model, then return it to the same storage place.
A clear divided craft organizer is one practical option to consider: LEGO’s guidance includes both clear bins and tool or craft boxes. Before choosing one, check that its compartments suit small parts, the lid closes securely, labels can be added, and pieces from different sets can remain separate. This is general planning advice, not a confirmed fit for any unreleased Hello Kitty set.
Where to store the organizer
LEGO advises keeping bricks in a dry place, away from heat sources and direct sunlight. It also warns against temperatures above 104°F (40°C), saying bricks may become brittle or discolored over time. Follow that guidance for both the model and its stored pieces.

How to display a completed model
A display case can help keep a completed model together while making it visible; LEGO includes minifigure display cases among its storage options. LEGO’s shop also lists storage boxes, organizers, shelves, and cases as product categories. Browse LEGO storage categories for general options, but do not assume a case will fit a future Hello Kitty model: its dimensions have not been announced.
Once official dimensions are available, compare a case’s internal dimensions with the model, and consider dust coverage, stability, and whether you can reach the model for cleaning. Until then, use a container that can safely hold the model or its loose parts rather than buying a case on the assumption that it will fit.

What to do if a piece is missing
Use LEGO’s replacement-pieces service for your region. LEGO’s US guidance asks you to find the set name or number on the box or instructions and search the service. LEGO’s UK guidance asks for a complete piece description, the element ID printed on the back of the instructions, and the set number. The details may vary by country, so follow the local support page. Find LEGO replacement pieces.

LEGO and Sanrio announced a multi-year partnership on October 6, 2026, with the first new products planned for 2027. LEGO’s Sanrio page says there have not been LEGO Sanrio sets before and does not give a release date. No set names, piece counts, dimensions, or prices are established in that announcement, so storage and display choices should remain flexible until product details are published.
