The DapuStor H3200 is an enterprise PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe SSD, not a consumer M.2 drive. It may suit a server or storage host that supports its exact U.2 or AIC/HHHL variant, but buyers should verify capacity-specific performance, host compatibility, and the seller’s warranty before choosing one. DapuStor’s specifications describe the product; StorageReview’s 2020 results are a historical test of one 3.84TB unit, not a current market ranking.
What the DapuStor H3200 is
DapuStor places the H3200 in its Haishen3 enterprise NVMe family. The manufacturer lists 3D eTLC NAND, PCIe 3.0 x4, and NVMe 1.3. The product is offered in U.2 and AIC/HHHL configurations, with the available format depending on capacity and variant. It is not an M.2 SSD, so it should not be treated as a drop-in upgrade for a typical desktop M.2 slot.
The interface and physical format are only part of compatibility. The server or storage system must support the drive’s form factor, NVMe, and the appropriate PCIe connection through its slot or backplane. Check the system documentation and the exact drive listing before purchase.
H3200 capacities and manufacturer specifications
DapuStor’s H3200 product page lists capacities from 0.96TB through 7.68TB. The figures below are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements. Values differ by capacity and, for some entries, by U.2 versus U.2/AIC variant. DapuStor cautions that actual results may vary with system hardware, settings, and software.

Where a value is not shown in the table, DapuStor’s cited product-page figures do not establish it for that row. Confirm the exact variant rather than assuming two drives with the same capacity have identical specifications. DapuStor also lists typical and maximum power by capacity, but those values are not reproduced here because they vary by configuration.
Endurance, latency, and warranty
DapuStor specifies endurance of 1 DWPD (drive writes per day) and an MTBF of two million hours. These are manufacturer ratings, not guarantees of an individual drive’s lifespan or independently verified reliability outcomes. The product page lists typical random 4K read/write latency of 85/15 microseconds for one variant grouping and 81/12 microseconds for the U.2 grouping.

DapuStor’s English Haishen3 datasheet, published approximately in 2024, states a five-year warranty. That document does not establish the terms a particular seller currently offers in every region. Check the seller’s written warranty, geographic coverage, and eligibility for the exact drive before relying on the datasheet warranty period.
What StorageReview’s 2020 test found
StorageReview published its H3200 review on May 29, 2020, testing a 3.84TB drive in its own configuration and methodology. Its results provide a useful historical data point, not a current comparison against today’s enterprise SSD market.

- In 4K random read, the tested drive reached 788,014 IOPS at 158.3 microseconds.
- In 4K random write, it recorded 274,362 IOPS at 462 microseconds.
- For 64K sequential workloads, StorageReview reported 3.3GB/s read and 1.4GB/s write; the publication described the sequential-write result as near the bottom of its comparison set.
- The review reported strong results in tested SQL and Oracle workloads, but weaker performance in its SQL Server application workload.
StorageReview’s reviewer, Lyle Smith, summarized the results as uneven: solid in synthetic tests but behind the pack in the SQL Server application workload. The review’s comparison set included drives such as the Intel P4610, Huawei ES3000 v5, and Samsung PM1725a; that 2020 lineup should not be read as a present-day ranking.

The H3200 is worth evaluating when an enterprise host supports the exact drive variant and the intended workload aligns with its capacity-specific specifications. Its manufacturer-listed 3,500 MB/s sequential read figure applies to the displayed H3200 variants, while write and random-I/O specifications vary. The historical independent results show why a single peak figure is not enough to predict database application performance.

Before comparing it with another enterprise SSD, compare like with like: host and form factor, capacity-specific write and random-I/O behavior, the target application and latency needs, endurance rating basis, and the warranty channel. The available independent review is from 2020, so it cannot establish how the H3200 ranks among products available in 2026.

What to verify before buying
- Identify the exact format. Confirm whether the listing is U.2 or AIC/HHHL; do not infer the format from the H3200 name alone.
- Match the drive to the host. Verify the server or storage system supports the chosen form factor, NVMe, and the relevant PCIe connection or backplane.
- Choose capacity by workload. Check the manufacturer’s row for that exact capacity and variant, especially sequential write and random-write IOPS.
- Validate service terms. Confirm seller authenticity, region, and the warranty that applies to the specific item. A datasheet warranty is not proof of a seller’s current terms.
- Assess evidence appropriately. Treat the 2020 StorageReview results as a test of one 3.84TB unit under that review’s methodology, not as a current comparative verdict.
