STP 文件是 STEP CAD 交换格式的一种常见扩展名。只想查看模型，可登录 Autodesk Viewer 并上传文件；要在桌面 CAD 中继续处理，可用 FreeCAD 导入；若要检查尺寸、公差、产品制造信息（PMI）或基本语法问题，可使用 NIST 的 STEP File Analyzer and Viewer。
先了解 STP 文件是什么
STP 和 STEP 是同一种交换格式的常见扩展名；NIST 也列出 .p21。它属于 ISO 10303 / Part 21，用于在 CAD、CAM、CAE 和检验软件之间交换零件、装配体及产品制造信息（PMI）。它不是图片，也不是 STL 一类的三角网格文件。FreeCAD 文档将 STEP 描述为支持实体几何和 NURBS 的格式，并将 STL、OBJ 归为三角网格格式。NIST：STEP File Analyzer and Viewer；FreeCAD：导入和导出其他文件格式

用 Autodesk Viewer 在线查看
- 确认文件名以 .stp 或 .step 结尾，并确认文件已完整下载。
- 打开Autodesk Viewer 入门说明，使用 Autodesk Account 登录。
- 进入 Design Views，上传 STP/STEP 文件，并等待服务转换完成后查看模型。
- 需要分享时，可分享查看表示；接收者不能因此访问或编辑源 STEP 文件。
Autodesk 的支持文件类型列表明确列出 STEP 和 STP。该方式适合查看和分享，不是编辑原始 STEP 数据的方式。上传机密模型前，应先查看 Autodesk 当前服务条款；这里引用的帮助页面说明了上传流程，但没有说明文件保留期限、隐私或合规处理方式。
在 FreeCAD 中导入并继续处理
FreeCAD 文档列出 STEP 导入和导出支持，并称 STEP 能处理实体几何和 NURBS。可在 FreeCAD 中使用打开或导入 STEP 的工作流；菜单名称可能随软件版本变化，按当前版本界面选择相应命令。导入后检查模型形状、装配结构及需要使用的属性，再继续建模或导出。

NIST 页面列出 STEP File Analyzer and Viewer 5.41，页面更新日期为 2025-12-31，并列出 76.12 MB。软件版本可能更新，下载前应在 NIST 页面确认当前版本及系统要求。

- 检查扩展名和文件完整性：确认文件结尾为 .stp、.step 或 NIST 所列的 .p21，并确认下载或传输已经完成。
- 换一种兼容工具验证：只需查看时试 Autodesk Viewer；桌面 CAD 工作流可试 FreeCAD。不同软件的导入支持和结果可能不同。
- 检查基本 STEP 语法：如果问题看起来与文件数据或格式有关，可用 NIST Analyzer 检查基本语法错误。检查出错误不等于工具已修复源文件。
- 检查导入结果：即使模型能打开，也应确认几何、装配体及所需信息是否符合用途；能打开不代表数据完整无损。
在线查看需要上传文件。若模型涉及保密设计，不要仅凭“在线查看器”这一说法推断隐私保护；先核对服务当前条款和组织要求。
