Two newsrooms reported that data attributed to 3,615 Trump Mobile users was published by a group calling itself BYOD. The reported records included names, email addresses, phone numbers, home addresses and order details. Eric Brunnett, the Trump Organization’s chief information officer, reportedly appears among them—but that does not establish that he managed Trump Mobile’s security.
What information was reportedly exposed?
Cybernews reported on October 6, 2026, that BYOD published data attributed to 3,615 Trump Mobile users. The reported fields included:
- Names
- Email addresses
- Phone numbers
- Home addresses
- Order details
Cybernews said it examined samples that appeared legitimate and were not linked to earlier breaches. Straight Arrow News separately reported reviewing records attributed to the same 3,615 customers and said people it contacted confirmed details in the dataset. These are newsroom findings, not a final affected-person count from the company or a regulator. Cybernews; Straight Arrow News.
The reviewed reports do not establish that passwords, payment information, calls or messages were exposed in this incident. They also do not establish the final scope of affected customers.

- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
- 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
- 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)
Why Eric Brunnett is mentioned
Cybernews identified Eric Brunnett in the reported records and described him as the Trump Organization’s vice president and chief information officer. The report reproduced profile wording saying he oversees “all information technology and information security for all aspects” of the organization. That corporate position and profile description do not show that he ran or secured Trump Mobile, or that his record had any role in the incident. Neither newsroom reported that a member of the Trump family appeared among the exposed customers. Cybernews; Straight Arrow News.
What is known—and what remains BYOD’s claim
The published data and the newsrooms’ review are distinct from BYOD’s account of how it obtained access. The group claimed an employee of Liberty Mobile was infected with a remote access trojan, after which it moved to Trump Mobile subdomains and extracted data. It also claimed ongoing access to a Trump Mobile dashboard.

- SUPERIOR COMFORT — Unlike traditional circular ear buds, the design of EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other ear bud–style headphones.
- HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO — The speakers inside EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.
- BUILT-IN REMOTE — EarPods with USB-C plug also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
- COMPATIBILITY — Works with all devices that have a USB-C port.
- INTEGRATED MICROPHONE — A built-in microphone precisely captures your voice while you’re on the phone, taking a FaceTime call, or summoning Siri — so you’re always heard loud and clear.
Straight Arrow News reported that BYOD supplied a screenshot, but the reviewed coverage does not independently establish the intrusion route or that dashboard access continued. Treat those details as allegations by the group, not verified findings. Straight Arrow News said Trump Mobile did not immediately respond to its request for comment; the reviewed reports do not establish an official response, notification plan or remediation statement. How this differs from the earlier pre-order exposure
This report concerns data BYOD attributed to Trump Mobile users and published in October 2026. It is separate from an earlier report about a flaw in a T1 pre-order form that exposed pre-order customer details. Cybernews’s coverage of that earlier issue reproduced a company statement saying it had not identified evidence that its systems, infrastructure or network were directly compromised at that time. That prior statement was about the earlier exposure; it is not a response to or denial of the later BYOD claims. Cybernews on the earlier pre-order exposure.

What customers can do
Because the reported fields include contact and address details, be alert for unexpected calls, messages or order-related contact that uses personal information to appear legitimate. Verify requests through a contact method you already trust rather than relying on links or numbers in an unexpected message. The reviewed reports do not establish that passwords or payment details were exposed, so they do not support treating those as compromised in this incident.
