Preserve: Complete Edition is a paid mobile release of the ecological tile-placement puzzle game Preserve, bundling the content released to date with its ecosystem-building gameplay. It is listed for iPhone and iPad, Android, and—through Apple’s compatibility listing—some Macs and Apple Vision Pro devices. The stores say it can be played offline and has no ads or in-app purchases.
What is Preserve: Complete Edition?
Preserve is a tile-placement game about building ecosystems. You place flora and fauna, then look for synergies between tiles as you develop a landscape. The official Google Play listing sums up the premise as “Restore the wild. One tile at a time.” Google Play
The game offers three modes: Puzzle presents challenges, Classic focuses on finding balance, and Creative lets you build freely. Pocket Gamer describes the experience as closer to creating a scored digital terrarium than tackling especially difficult logic puzzles. That distinction may help set expectations: the central appeal is shaping an ecosystem and its combinations, not solving a sequence of hard logic problems.
What comes with the Complete Edition?
Apple describes the edition as including all content released to date. Pocket Gamer’s October 6, 2026 coverage names the Jurassic and marina biomes as examples of included expansions, with new tiles and synergies, and characterizes the release as a bundle of existing content rather than a remaster or gameplay revamp. Where can you play it?
The release is listed on Apple’s U.S. App Store and Google Play. Apple also lists compatibility with Mac and Apple Vision Pro; those are compatibility claims in the store listing, not separate editions described in the available launch coverage.

Prices are regional and can change. At the time covered by the October 6, 2026 launch reporting, the U.S. Apple listing showed $7.99. Google Play showed a $7.99 U.S. price and a $7.19 offer ending October 19, 2026; Pocket Gamer also reported a limited-time 10% launch discount on iOS and Android. If you are deciding whether to buy it, the main distinction is whether you already own the earlier mobile release and its expansions. The Complete Edition is presented as a convenient bundle of released content; Pocket Gamer’s suggestion that it may appeal to players who held off on the original is an editorial framing, not a guarantee that an existing owner should repurchase it.
Does Preserve work offline, and does it have ads or in-app purchases?
Apple and Google Play describe the game as fully playable offline and say it has no ads or in-app purchases. Those are store-listed product details. Apple assigns it a 4+ age rating; Google Play lists it as Everyone.

Who publishes Preserve, and what do the store privacy disclosures say?
Store credits differ by platform. Apple identifies Plug In Digital as the developer and seller, and its copyright line credits Plug In Digital, Dear Villagers, and Grindstone. Google Play identifies Dear Villagers on the listing and gives Plug In Digital as the developer contact.
The privacy disclosures are also platform-specific. Apple says the developer’s practices may include identifiers used for tracking and device identifiers for analytics, while noting that the information is developer-provided and not verified by Apple. Google Play reports that no data is shared with third parties and lists app activity, app information and performance, and device or other IDs among data types the app may collect.
