The tradeoff is that open-ear audio can be harder to hear in very noisy surroundings. T3 notes that the OpenDots 2 do not have noise cancelling, so they are not designed to block environmental sound. If you need strong isolation or noise reduction, this is the wrong feature set; if you choose an open-ear design, keep your listening volume and route conditions in mind.
What did T3 say about comfort?
Comfort is part of Mike Lowe’s subjective review assessment, not an independently established result.
