In Altgard, sweep the area between Silent Hill and Tranein Pond, including Fang Hideout and Temporary Retreat. These are recommended search areas, not guaranteed cube locations: Hidden Cubes can appear at different candidate spots, and some are underwater.
Best Hidden Cube search areas
Verteron: Ellun River Midstream and the western ravine
Head to Ellun River Midstream, then check the upper ravine west of the river, past Pamos Farm. Destructoid’s guide for the Global version, published October 6, 2026, highlights this as a promising search area and notes that many possible positions there are underwater. Destructoid’s Verteron and Altgard guide
Altgard: Silent Hill to Tranein Pond
Search between Silent Hill and Tranein Pond, including the Fang Hideout and Temporary Retreat hunting grounds. These areas are described as early-accessible, and their possible cube positions can be easy to miss. Check both the marked area and nearby terrain rather than stopping at a single point. Destructoid’s Verteron and Altgard guide
How to search when a map marker is empty
A marker on a Hidden Cube map should be treated as a possible spawn position, not proof that a cube is currently there. Corpus’s map-data analysis lists 95 spawn groups and 1,440 candidate positions in Verteron, and 59 groups and 1,371 candidate positions in Altgard. Those are Corpus figures, not official published game statistics; the practical point is that a cube may appear at one of several positions in a group rather than returning to the exact spot where you found it before. - Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
- Search the surrounding cluster. If a candidate point is empty, check nearby candidate positions instead of assuming the whole area has no cube.
- Check water as well as land. This matters especially around Verteron’s river and ravine.
- Use sound as a clue. Corpus offers a filter based on where you heard a cube and estimates a range of about 130 m. Treat that as an approximate tool: terrain, elevation, and audio settings can affect what you hear.
- Do not expect a live-spawn indicator. Corpus’s map can help narrow a search, but it cannot confirm which candidate spot currently has an active cube.
Corpus also lets players filter ground and water positions, search place names, and view numbered candidate points by spawn group. These features can help organize a sweep, but they do not turn candidate locations into guaranteed spawns. Corpus Hidden Cubes map
How to get Hidden Cube keys
Destructoid’s Global guide lists progression rewards, daily rewards, monolith upgrades, and shops as key sources. Its shop figures below are a snapshot from October 6, 2026, not a promise that stock, prices, or limits remain unchanged. Destructoid’s Hidden Cube key guide

- Collect attendance rewards: Daily Attendance is another listed route.
- Upgrade Verteron and Altgard monoliths: The October 6 guide says monolith upgrades at levels one through six award one key each, while levels seven and eight award two each among other rewards.
- Check the shops in your client: The same guide lists Tsenka Merchants at 50 Quna per key, with a maximum of three per day, and the A2 Mileage shop at 2,000 Mileage per key. Confirm current availability and prices in game before planning around these details.
Other third-party lists also name Duty Missions and Duty Scrolls, alongside achievements, attendance, passes, monolith levels, and shops. Lists do not align perfectly, so check your in-game reward screens and shop rather than assuming every route is available in every client version. Corpus Hidden Cubes map
Opening a cube, contested spawns, and respawns
MetaBot’s analysis of Global client data describes one interaction per cube, a four-second opening channel, and despawn after opening. That can make a found cube time-sensitive if another player is nearby. The analysis does not establish a respawn timer, and the next appearance need not be at the same candidate position, so there is no reliable interval to use for a return trip. Global map availability and key-rule differences
Guides published in 2026 do not agree on the Global map set or whether every cube requires a key. MetaBot’s October 6 client-data analysis describes four field maps—Verteron (95 groups), Altgard (59), Eltnen (26), and Morheim (26)—for 206 cubes and 3,722 candidate spots. It says Verteron and Altgard cubes are key-only, while some Eltnen and Morheim versions can be opened without a key. These are MetaBot’s interpretations of client data, not official published statistics. MetaBot’s Hidden Cube client-data guide
Other descriptions differ: Corpus’s map page gives Verteron and Altgard counts, while Aion 2 Hub’s search-result text identifies Eltnen and Morheim as Korea/Taiwan maps and says they were not in the Global client as of September 19, 2026. Aion 2 Maps, updated September 28, says all Global cubes are key-only. These third-party accounts may reflect different client states or regions. Before traveling to Eltnen or Morheim, or assuming a cube can be opened for free, verify the map and cube behavior in your own live client. Corpus Hidden Cubes map Aion 2 Maps Hidden Cubes
