The 2026 Roku Pro Series OLED is a good fit if you want OLED’s deep blacks, Roku’s built-in streaming interface, and 4K/120Hz gaming features for less than many premium OLED TVs. Its main compromise is brightness: it is a better match for a darker or moderately lit room than a space with strong daylight or persistent reflections.

It comes in 55- and 65-inch sizes. The launch prices reported by TechRadar were $999.99 and $1,199.99, respectively; prices and promotions can change, so check the current listing before buying.

What the Roku Pro Series OLED offers

Roku’s 2026 Pro Series OLED is its first OLED television, according to Roku. Roku Support identifies the standard models as 55RADX and 65RADX. This review concerns those standard models, not the separate Pro Series LX.

The Pro Series OLED combines a 4K OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and Roku OS. Roku lists Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, HDMI 2.1, VRR, ALLM, and FreeSync Premium, with gaming support up to 4K/120fps. The supplied backlit voice remote and Roku Smart Picture Max are also part of the feature set. Roku says its interface provides access to more than 500 free live TV channels and streaming apps; that is the company’s own count, not an independently audited availability figure.

Picture quality: excellent contrast, limited brightness

OLED’s defining strength is its ability to produce deep blacks and strong contrast. TechRadar’s review found the Roku’s black levels impressive and its color coverage good, though not exceptional. That makes movies and shows with dark scenes compelling, particularly when the room is dim. The trade-off is less headroom for bright HDR highlights and more difficulty overcoming room light and reflections.

How its brightness compares

In TechRadar’s 2026 test, HDR Filmmaker Mode measured 462 nits on a 10% window and 96 nits full-screen. In the same publication’s comparison, the LG B6 measured 835 and 150 nits, while the TCL QM7L measured 2,270 and 723 nits, respectively. These are results from TechRadar’s stated test setup, not guaranteed performance in every unit or picture mode.

Tom’s Guide used a different method: HDR Dark mode with Display Brightness set to Brighter, noting that the Roku does not have Filmmaker mode. In its 2026 test, the Roku reached 574 nits on a 10% HDR window, compared with 1,365 nits for the LG C6 and 1,497 for the Samsung S90H. Tom’s Guide also measured Rec. 2020 color-gamut coverage of 70.7% for the Roku, 75.8% for the LG, and 77.8% for the Samsung. Because the publications used different methods and modes, their figures should not be combined as if they were one test.

TechRadar and Tom’s Guide both describe a set that can handle everyday viewing but trails brighter OLED rivals in HDR brightness and color range. If your room gets strong sunlight, you watch with windows behind or beside the screen, or you want especially punchy HDR, a brighter OLED or Mini-LED model is likely a better choice.

Gaming, streaming, and everyday use

The 120Hz panel and HDMI 2.1 support make this Roku more capable for gaming than a basic 60Hz television. VRR, ALLM, and FreeSync Premium are listed features, and Roku specifies gaming up to 4K/120fps. These features are relevant for compatible consoles and PCs; they do not remove the set’s brightness limitations for daytime play.

Roku OS is the other central reason to consider the TV. If you already prefer Roku’s interface and want streaming built into the television, you can avoid adding a separate streaming player. Buyers who prefer another smart-TV platform should weigh that preference alongside the picture and gaming features.

Sound: adequate for TV, short on bass

TechRadar’s reviewer found the built-in sound serviceable for ordinary television viewing, but lacking low-end impact. The OLED design is thinner than the 2025 Pro Series, leaving less room for speakers and ports; TechRadar also reports that the older model sounded better and offered hands-free control. A soundbar with a subwoofer is worth considering if fuller bass matters to you, but the available review evidence does not suggest that one is necessary for every viewer.

How it compares with the alternatives

Model What the evidence says Best reason to consider it
Roku Pro Series OLED (2026) 4K OLED, 120Hz, Roku OS, Dolby Vision, and HDMI 2.1 gaming features. TechRadar measured 462 nits on a 10% HDR Filmmaker Mode window and 96 nits full-screen in its 2026 test. Roku interface and OLED contrast at a comparatively accessible launch price.
LG B6 In TechRadar’s 2026 comparison, it measured 835 nits on a 10% window and 150 nits full-screen. The comparison information available here does not establish a directly comparable price or full feature list. Consider it if you want a budget OLED alternative with higher measured brightness in that test.
TCL QM7L Mini-LED, with 2,270 nits on a 10% window and 723 nits full-screen in TechRadar’s 2026 comparison. Those are the publication’s test results, not universal figures. Consider it if brightness for a brighter room matters more than OLED black levels.
Roku Pro Series (2025) TechRadar reports better sound and hands-free control than the thinner OLED model. The reviewed evidence does not provide a comparable current price. Consider it if you value built-in sound and hands-free control over an OLED panel.
Roku Pro Series LX A separate OLED model that Roku describes as brighter, with a wider color range and VRR up to 144Hz. These are Roku’s claims for the LX, not specifications of the standard Pro Series OLED. Consider it as a step-up Roku OLED if its claimed brightness and refresh rate better match your needs.

The comparison figures above come from TechRadar’s 2026 testing for the Roku, LG B6, and TCL QM7L; differences in test setups and picture modes can affect measurements. The LX comparison reflects Roku’s product claims, not an independent test in the evidence cited here.

Price and value

TechRadar reported launch prices of $999.99 for the 55-inch model and $1,199.99 for the 65-inch model. It also reported a $799.99 price for the 65-inch TV during Amazon Prime Day on October 6, 2026. That was a time-limited promotion, not a lasting retail price. Check the current price and availability for the specific size before making a decision.

At a discount, the Roku Pro Series OLED can be an appealing way to get OLED contrast and Roku OS together. At full price, the value depends more heavily on whether you specifically want Roku, how bright your room is, and whether you would rather spend more for a brighter OLED or choose Mini-LED for stronger daytime visibility.

Who should buy the Roku Pro Series OLED?

  • Consider it if you want OLED contrast, Roku’s streaming interface, and 4K/120Hz gaming features, and your viewing room is dim or moderately lit.
  • Look elsewhere if the screen must compete with strong daylight, HDR brightness is a priority, or you want more impactful built-in bass.
  • Compare the LX separately if you want a Roku OLED with Roku’s higher brightness and refresh-rate claims; do not assume those specifications apply to the standard model.
