Does the delay point to a new HomePod mini?
It may be consistent with a product transition, but it is not proof of one. MacRumors reported a rumor that Apple could introduce a new HomePod mini on October 13, 2026, alongside an updated Apple TV 4K and a smart-home hub. The report said the successor was expected to retain the current design and add a faster chip, Apple Intelligence support, and new colors. There is also a reason not to read too much into the stock pattern. MacRumors noted that similar HomePod mini shortages had occurred intermittently for more than a year.
