There isn’t a Fliff-approved “best VPN” for masking your location. Fliff’s Social Gaming Terms of Use and Pick ’Em terms prohibit using a VPN, proxy, or similar service to conceal or manipulate your real location. If Fliff cannot verify your location while you’re somewhere the product is available, check your device’s location permissions and contact Fliff support instead.

Why a VPN is not a suitable way to use Fliff

Fliff’s Social Gaming Terms of Use identify access through a VPN, proxy, or similar service that masks or manipulates a user’s real location as grounds for account action. The terms state that account access may not occur “through a VPN, proxy or similar service that masks or manipulates the identification of your real location.” See Fliff’s Social Gaming Terms of Use, section 12.2.12.

Fliff Pick ’Em has a separate terms document with the same core restriction. It also describes identity and location verification. A VPN cannot make a location eligible, and using one to get around a location check may put your account at risk.

Check availability for the specific Fliff product

Fliff availability differs by product and state. Check the official Fliff availability page for the product you intend to use; an old state list may no longer be accurate.

For context, a Fliff Help Center article updated March 23, 2026 said Pick ’Em required users to be at least 18 and listed California, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, New Mexico, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, and West Virginia as available at that time. That dated list is not a guarantee of current eligibility. Check Fliff’s current availability information before relying on it. The article is available at “Am I eligible to use Fliff Pick’Em?”.

If Fliff cannot detect your location in an eligible place

  1. Confirm product availability. Check Fliff’s official availability information for the specific product and your state.
  2. Allow location access. Review your device’s location permissions and make sure Fliff is allowed to access location information. Fliff’s Social Sportsbook support category includes location-permission instructions.
  3. Turn off location-masking services. Do not use a VPN, proxy, or similar service to change the location Fliff detects.
  4. Contact Fliff support. If you are physically in an eligible area and location detection still fails, ask Fliff for help rather than attempting to spoof your location.

Connection privacy without location concealment

A VPN may change the apparent network location by routing traffic through another server. That is exactly why it is not an appropriate tool for bypassing Fliff’s location checks. For Fliff access, follow the platform’s location and eligibility rules; the official sources cited here do not establish a VPN as a Fliff-approved way to secure a connection.
