There is no single storage limit for every Adobe Creative Cloud account. Adobe’s current comparison lists 100 GB for the individual Creative Cloud Standard and Pro plans, but your actual allowance depends on your plan and account. Check the amount shown while signed in before deciding how much space you have.
How much Creative Cloud storage do you get?
Adobe’s March 25, 2026 comparison of its individual Creative Cloud Standard and Pro plans lists 100 GB for each. The page describes Standard as the new plan and Pro as the former All Apps plan, and mentions higher-storage plan options. This comparison does not establish one limit for every Adobe subscription, trial, region, or older account. Adobe says storage varies by plan, so use the amount shown in your signed-in account as the authoritative figure for your subscription.
Business accounts work differently: Adobe says enterprise storage is allocated by license and pooled across the organization. An individual user may exceed an individual license allocation while the organization remains within its shared pool. Under Adobe’s enterprise guidance, customers cannot independently buy additional storage and should contact their Adobe Account Manager.
How to check your account’s storage limit
Adobe provides two ways to see your current allowance and usage. The exact amount is tied to the signed-in account.

Plan names, entitlements, and purchase options may differ by region and account history. If the displayed amount does not match a plan page, rely on your account details or confirm the entitlement with Adobe.
What counts toward Adobe cloud storage?
Adobe’s storage quota guidance covers several Adobe services and types of content, not just files in one Creative Cloud folder:
Rank #2
- 5-in-1 USB-C Hub: Experience comprehensive connectivity featuring a Power Delivery input, two USB-A 2.0 ports, a USB-A 3.0 port, and an HDMI port. (Note: The USB-C power delivery input port is only for connecting an external wall charger to power your laptop and cannot power peripheral devices.)
- 90W Pass-Through Charging: Achieve optimal charging with 90W pass-through power to your laptop, supported by a total input of 100W, with the hub reserving 10W for operational efficiency. (Note: Wall charger not included.)
- Quick Data Transfers: Accelerate your productivity with rapid data transfers using a high-speed 5Gbps USB 3.0 port and two 480Mbps USB 2.0 ports.
- 4K HDMI Display: Enhance your visual experience with a hub capable of delivering 4K resolution at 30Hz in both mirror and extend modes. Please note that this hub is compatible with MacBook (macOS 12 and newer), Windows 10 and 11, ChromeOS, and laptops equipped with DP Alt Mode and Power Delivery. Note: This device is not compatible with Linux.
- What You Get: Anker USB-C Hub (5-in-1, 4K HDMI), welcome guide, 18-month warranty, and our friendly customer service.
- Creative Cloud cloud documents, libraries, Photoshop presets, legacy synced files, and deleted items.
- Lightroom photos and videos.
- Document Cloud documents, including starred and shared documents.
- Adobe Express projects and brand files, graphics, web pages, and videos.
Deleting an item does not immediately release its space: deleted files and folders continue to count until you permanently remove them.
Storage capacity and sync limits are different
Adobe separately lists synchronization ceilings of 350,000 files and 150,000 folders. These are file-count limits, not gigabytes of storage. Shared files, folders, and subfolders do not count toward those sync totals. Reaching a sync ceiling is therefore a different problem from filling the account’s storage allowance.

- Flawless 4K@60Hz Video with HDMI: Delivers exceptional clarity and smoothness with its 4K@60Hz HDMI port, making it ideal for high-definition presentations and entertainment. (Note: Only the HDMI port supports video projection; the USB-C port is for data transfer only.)
- Double Up on Efficiency: The two USB-A 3.0 ports and a USB-C port support a fast 5Gbps data rate, significantly boosting your transfer speeds and improving productivity.
- Fast and Reliable 85W Charging: Offers high-capacity, speedy charging for laptops up to 85W, so you spend less time tethered to an outlet and more time being productive.

What to do when your storage is full
- Check usage first. Use Cloud activity in the desktop app or the storage information under Your files on Adobe Home to confirm the account’s limit and usage.
- Find items you can remove. Review the cloud content that counts toward the allowance, including Lightroom content, libraries, and deleted items.
- Permanently remove unwanted deleted items. Moving files to Deleted alone does not free their space; remove them permanently if you intend to reclaim that quota.
- Keep an independent copy when needed. Adobe’s guidance for legacy Synced files recommends supported Adobe storage, a third-party cloud service with syncing, or a local backup outside the Creative Cloud Files folder. A local drive can hold a backup, but it does not increase your Adobe cloud quota.
Adobe’s guidance that users can still browse, download, and access content after reaching a limit applies specifically to Acrobat/Document Cloud. It says uploading and certain listed operations can trigger a quota notification. That page does not establish identical behavior for every Creative Cloud app.
What happens to storage if you cancel?
Adobe says cancellation reduces cloud storage to 5 GB. If your online usage exceeds that allowance, Adobe gives you 30 days to reduce it. After that period, you could lose access to some or all files stored on Creative Cloud servers; Adobe does not say that deletion is guaranteed on day 31. Work saved locally on your device remains accessible.

Do not confuse Synced files with other Adobe storage
Creative Cloud Synced files is a legacy desktop synchronization service. It is distinct from Cloud Documents, Creative Cloud Libraries, Lightroom cloud storage, and Frame.io. Adobe’s Synced files notice says those other listed services are not affected by the change to Synced files. Because Adobe extended dates in that notice and directs users to account-specific email for timing, its dates should not be treated as a universal current cutoff. If you still rely on Synced files, follow Adobe’s account-specific notice and move or separately back up those assets.
