Whether it is a must-have depends on how many of those games you want and whether Humble’s live price and redemption deadline work for you. Those offer details are not confirmed here, so check Humble’s current page before subscribing.
What’s in the October 2026 Humble Choice lineup?
Steam Deck HQ’s October 6, 2026 article lists these eight games and their compatibility labels:
| Game | Compatibility label reported by Steam Deck HQ |
|---|---|
| Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii | Verified |
| Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown | Verified |
| Psychonauts 2 | Playable |
| Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor | Verified |
| Cataclismo | Playable |
| Dungeons and Degenerate Gamblers | Verified |
| Asgard’s Fall – Viking Survivors | Playable |
| Toy Shire | Playable |
That is a four-to-four split between Verified and Playable in the article’s list. These are labels reported by Steam Deck HQ, not results of independent testing for this article; check each game’s current Steam listing for up-to-date compatibility information.
What do Verified and Playable tell you?
Steam Deck compatibility labels are useful for screening a bundle, but they do not tell you whether you will enjoy a particular game or how it will perform in every situation. Steam Deck HQ’s CEO/Editor in Chief Noah Kupetsky characterizes the lineup this way: “Half of these games are perfect for the Steam Deck, while the others are all playable and enjoyable.” That is his editorial assessment, not a measured performance result.
#1 Best Overall
- 1TB NVMe SSD
- 1280 x 800 HDR OLED display with premium anti-glare etched glass, 7.4" Diagonal display size up to 90Hz refresh rate
- Wi-Fi 6E
- 50Whr battery; 3-12 hours of gameplay (content-dependent)
- Carrying case with removable liner
The lineup spans several kinds of games, from action-adventure titles such as Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii and Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown to roguelike and strategy offerings. Consider whether those specific games and genres appeal to you rather than treating the compatibility labels alone as a reason to subscribe. The available article does not provide game-by-game performance notes or individual game values.
Is the bundle worth it for Steam Deck owners?
It could be a good fit if you want several of these titles, value having four games listed as Verified, and are comfortable with the Playable-labeled games. It is harder to justify if you are interested in only one or two games or are subscribing solely because of the compatibility labels.
