Approach every camera from behind and shut its lid. If one spots you, it vanishes temporarily; wait for it to return and try again. After containing all 14, return to Downtown for the final camera sequence.
How the Freeze Frame camera hunt works
The cameras are placed across Downtown, Central, Evacuation Zone, West Incursion Zone, The Park, Underpass, and The Unknown. Their forward-facing view is the hazard: find a route to the rear, then close the lid. Being spotted does not count as containment; the camera disappears temporarily and must return before you can retry.
Some routes depend on traversal abilities or environmental actions, including Reach, Shift, power routing, or burning a barrier. Instant Photos found in zone hubs offer scene clues; review collected photos under Key Items.
Downtown camera locations
Camera 1: Upside-down building near Dense Patterning
Find the building around Dense Patterning, enter through the opening in its roof, and drop down behind the camera.

Camera 2: Portable FBC office near The Chasm
Use power routing to open the rear entrance of the portable FBC office. Go in from that side to reach the camera without crossing its view.
Central camera locations
Camera 3: Below Zoe’s office in the Watchtower
In the Watchtower/Underground Supply Route, take the upper route and drop down behind the camera beneath Zoe’s office.
Camera 4: Warehouse rooftop
The camera is on a warehouse rooftop. The reported route involves entering the building after the camera spots you, clearing an encounter, then returning to the camera from its rear. Wait for it to reappear before making the approach.

Camera 5: Rooftop structure south of the Sinkhole

Look on the rooftop beside the billboard on Railyard Street. Enter the building and use the elevator route to get behind the camera. The route requires letting it respawn before you return to shut its lid.
West Incursion Zone camera locations
Camera 7: Gravity-anomaly wall north of the Parking Garage
Use Shift and the grapple route to reach the camera from above and behind on the anomaly wall.

Camera 8: Window-cleaning platform near Pulse Fitness
Near Pulse Fitness and the Museum of Curiosities, grapple to the window-cleaning platforms and use the floating platforms to reach the camera’s rear side.
The Park camera locations
Camera 9: Nomad Avenue Station
The camera is inside the station. Burn through the webbed barrier with the fire ability to access the route behind it.

Underpass camera locations
Camera 11: Island east of the Underpass Vendor
Near the yellow-lit corridor, reach the underside of the island and find the floor opening. Drop through it to land behind the camera.
Camera 12: Moldy island south of Tubes Island
Use the gravity route or a floating-platform approach to reach the opening behind the camera.

Camera 13: Mold-covered construction site
In the upside-down gravity version of the area, reach the opposite level, enter the building, and descend to the mold-covered section. Approach the camera from behind.
Camera 14: Wear ’Em and Wash ’Em laundromat
Open the rear garage access, then move away until the camera returns. Re-enter from the back and shut its lid.
Where to find the Instant Photos
The 14 photos are clues to camera scenes. GamesRadar lists these pickup hubs:
- Downtown: Near the whiteboards at the Oldest House entrance.
- Central: In the wardrobe room of the FBC Field Office.
- Evacuation Zone: In the raised portable FBC office.
- West Incursion Zone: At the base of the House of Mirrors.
- The Park: At the FBC base.
- Underpass: In the Spire.
- The Unknown: On the map table in the Patterned Field Office.
GamesRadar also reports that any uncollected photos may appear in Dylan’s apartment after the main story.
Complete the final Downtown camera sequence
Once all 14 zone cameras are contained, return to the marked Downtown objective. More cameras appear around the area. Approach each from behind and shut its lid; being spotted resets progress in this sequence, so check the route before entering a camera’s field of view.
