PCWorld reported on October 6, 2026, that Amazon was selling a two-pack of Anker 60W USB-C-to-USB-C cables for $7.99—about $4 per cable. That was a dated, Prime-exclusive offer, not a guaranteed current price. Check the deal listing for the exact option, price, stock and eligibility before buying.
What the reported deal included
The October 6 PCWorld deal report priced two cables at $7.99 total, or roughly $4 each, and described the offer as Prime-exclusive. Amazon announced that Prime Big Deal Days would run October 6–7, 2026, for Prime members, with offers available while supplies last. The event dates and eligibility do not guarantee that this particular offer remains available now.
The deal report describes the cable length as 3.3 feet. Anker’s official US product page for model A8753 lists a two-pack with 3 ft and 6 ft options, so confirm the Amazon variation rather than assuming the deal is the same SKU or length. What 60W means for charging
Anker rates the A8753 cable for up to 60W. That is the cable’s maximum supported charging power, not a promise that a connected device will draw 60W. Actual charging depends on the charger’s output and the device’s capabilities; a cable cannot make a device charge faster than its supported rate. PCWorld also cautions that this 60W cable will not provide the fastest charging for power-hungry laptops.

This is a USB-C-to-USB-C cable, so it will not plug into a USB-A charger. Check both ends of your charger and device before ordering, and verify the device’s charging requirements if you need a particular rate.
Data transfer is the main trade-off
Anker lists a maximum data transfer rate of 480 Mbps for the A8753, which is basic USB 2.0-class speed. That is adequate for ordinary cable use but a poor fit for frequent transfers of large files. If fast file transfer matters, compare a higher-speed cable and check its charging rating separately; high data speed and high charging power are distinct specifications.

- Length: PCWorld described a 3.3-foot cable, while Anker’s A8753 page lists 3 ft and 6 ft options. Confirm the selected Amazon option.
- Durability figure: Anker’s official A8753 page says up to 12,000 bends; PCWorld’s deal article says up to 5,000. Because the figures differ, do not use either as a definitive durability claim for the listing unless its exact variant is confirmed.
