Globox is back in Rayman Legends Retold, Ubisoft’s visually reworked take on the 2013 game. Ubisoft has confirmed Globox’s return and promoted new costume options, but its published text does not announce a separate standalone redesign for him. The game is currently scheduled to launch on December 3, 2026.
Is Globox getting a new design?
Globox will appear in the game’s reinterpreted 3D presentation, and Ubisoft has promoted outfits for him. That supports saying players will see him in a visually updated game, not that Ubisoft has separately unveiled a definitive new Globox character design. The distinction matters: an overall visual overhaul and costume content do not, by themselves, establish a standalone redesign announcement.

When does Rayman Legends Retold come out?
Ubisoft’s September 23, 2026 announcement schedules Rayman Legends Retold for December 3, 2026. This is the announced date, not a guarantee against a later schedule change. The announcement lists PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, GeForce Now, Blacknut, and PC through Ubisoft Connect, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. What is changing in the game?
Ubisoft describes Rayman Legends Retold as a reimagining with reinterpreted 3D graphics. The returning cast includes Rayman, Barbara, Grand Minimus, Murphy, and Globox. Ubisoft also lists a new story, fully voiced cinematics, returning levels, a sixth realm, four new musical stages, dragon rides, and couch co-op for up to four players.
The visual approach is intended to connect the series’ 3D-era look with the side-scrolling clarity of Rayman Legends. Ubisoft’s announced preorder Hoodlum Havoc Pack includes two costumes: one for Rayman and one for Globox. The announcement also describes these editions and included content:
